Re: How to see live Nifty Future charts in Metra Trader 5?

I have used FxCentral Trader 5 FirstCharting for demo account. Charts available for Nifty & Bank Nifty Futures are AWESOME with 1 min data of more than 1 year. But charts only EOD.
How to see LIVE CHARTS? How to subscribe? What are the subscription cost?
Zerodha or anybody please help me if u can.

PS: to zerodha, Pls try to find out something about them & help clients. FXcentral has a office in Bangalore.

is offering a demo MT5 application.

It has NF, cash scrips, commodities in indian currency with indian time-stamps. It also has USDINR!

I have not seen any such 'indianized' demo version so far.

You can give it a try and see for yourselves!

can you share which third party can do. locking is very annoying.

This NOW extractor program is functional with few bugs here and there.
The next version is going to be released with the following features:

1. Placing orders (including cover orders) in NOW through this software.

2. Alternatively, you may choose not to send the orders to NOW, but place
the orders in this software to paper trade. It gives out reports of your trades also.

3. It can disable auto-locking of NOW.

I am not recommending this software as of now, as it is still having bugs.
Once they are out with the version with the above features, I will post a
link here.

do the following stuff:

1. try to clean the temporary internet files everyday after you have ended your session and going to close your pc or after starting your system for 1st time. this will help you to overcome all the problems you are facing. this mainly happens due to the crowding of the temp internet files.also you don't have to kill the process of NOW from when you are exiting from NOW. just give it time and it will shut automatically. i never face this type of problem.

2. your 2nd problem - auto freezing of NOW terminal - it automatically freezes after some times -I think after 10/15 min of inactivity in the system. if you want to have NOW active all the time , do 1 thing, never ever minimizes NOW, on the contrary try to keep NOW visible with at least 1 scrip market watch. this will never freezes NOW.

These are only work-arounds. When users are aware of these things, how
come the development people are not aware of them? Or ignoring them?
What is the role of Zerodha, other than thanking selective posts?

As some other member pointed out, Zerodha prefers to be silent over issues
concerning NOW - at the most they will say that they are going to
come up with all-new NEST.

And, how are we going to be sure that NEST will not have all these problems,
when it is also developed by the same people?

@vikrit, ............ I am also trading commodities.. If you are using the plus for charting, the data is slowing down the peformance because it has intraday data for almost a month... Last week I just upgraded my system and internet... The performance has gone up drastically after that.....................

................I think it is too much on Zerodha Trader especially with lesser internet speeds...

i don't use nest plus, there is no window showing any chart, i use trade tiger and mt4 for charts. i even don't use snap/link to excel feature.

having two laptops -

1. core2duo, 2gb ram, 512 graphic memory, OS-XP professional original, harddisk-320GB.

2. bought in last week of april, 2012 - Core i5, 4GB ram, 2GB dedicated graphics memory, OS - Win7 home premium original, harddisk - 500 GB.

using 2nd one for NOW and ZERODHA/NEST, 1st one for trade tiger and other software

internet connection - 1mbps unlimited. to make sure zerodha soft get high speed, setup network in a way so 2nd laptop always get more than 700kbps speed.

now tell me still I need to upgrade????

just for info, zerodha provide 20 days (1 month) and TT2.2 can show/handle 30 trading days (1.5 months) data. but i use it only for weekend analysis. for trading use TT1.5, b/c its order window is easy or say i like it more.

anyways, i know the solution for all problems, as i am not saving much as per my usage b/c of 'brokerage in TTC', nowadays use zerodha for big orders only. don't like software. so best solution - use till find better one. i found two broker cheaper than zerodha, one is sub-broker and other one delhi based. collecting review about software and service from friends, after that finalize one. if have doubt about cheap, tell me will post detailed comparative calculations on weekend or whenever get time. this time checked each and every charges and take it in written, thanks to zerodha.

thanks for reply, definitely will like to try this.

don't expect zerodha will reply, they don't have any solution. they only can reply when software developer give any. I am not technical expert. but NOW and Zerodha softwares don't look different. maybe technically different. both use nestplus as plugin. connectivity, profiles, other features are same. what is the difference other than one is having more problems.

Which ISP do you use? I am running NOW on Core2Duo and its running fine. Of course I don't use the Nest Plus charts or anything. I have 2 internet connections, one being Tikona, which disconnects NOW 2- 3 times a day. The other ISP Bharti- Airtel works perfectly and NOW does not disconnect even once from 9-4. I have an older laptop, though, Single core, which seems to disconnects NOW once in a while even on Bharti.

ISP for open terminal, or my ISP.

my internet provider is bharti-airtel, rarely connectivity dropped. it is good. open NOW rarely use web based to put orders (only trade options with zerodha), use TT for quotes. since last week NEST/Zerodha trader (commodity) also giving headache, and when saw timepass comment, so posted zerodha reply abt the problem. i already talked to them, reinstall it in eve, maybe problem is in server connectivity and something else. plz read my this post

as brokrage of zerodha is less than 1 question aries suppose if any 1 deposit 4-5 lac for trading and he had fear that this company remains or not for that safety anything is there?
