Don't know whether it is right place to ask, does Now provide feature for following like

if i buy some option at say Rs.47, it automatically sold at 47.20 if it rises and 46.85 as SL in single order.

NO.
That type of order is called as bracket order (single order with target and stop loss). Firstly NSE Now don't support bracket order. Secondly, still now NSE don't allow bracket order. Share Khan provides that type of bracket order for BSE only. Hope it helps. Cheers. :)

NSE approved bracket and trailing stop loss order, as sharekhan started on NSE 2-3 weeks back, but only for cash.

agreed on first three point, however best s/w for back office i come across is from icici direct.. it have everything from tax calculation ....
Yup ...I too have heard the same. ... fellow traders here say RKSV has excellent backoffice software too.... anybody know whether RKSV has profit/loss report in Equity segment ? Tax calculation report ?

Zerodha backoffice is worst. .... very much inconvenient and buggy...I received wrong margin reports several times.

I'm frustrated with their back office ...if this continues long then I may have to switch to other brokers.

I appreciate Zerodha's service and their efforts to solve any issue a client may face. But surprisingly they are silent on backoffice issues ....I hope Zerodha is listening....Zerodha as an experienced trader you certainly feel our inconveniences. Why don't you give us an update regarding backoffice software improvement ? Kindly please do something.

Re: 60 day challenge.

Many might have got the refund of brokerages and proved profitable and won the challenge but they may be silent .I am one such person "waiting silently for Zerodha to announce the next challenge " and win it again. Zerodha are you listening ?:) Let us have a challenge in some revised form so that we trade with compitative spirit....

Also as we have Omnesys and NOW combination in Zerodha ,waiting for some learning from Zerodha on automated trading.....some good scripts for intraday trading, which will be profitable to the members and Zerodha both....hope to hear on this soon as Zerodha had mentioned this in their plans.Let us make a start....not wait indefinately for all exchanges to be on Zerodha trader....start with NOW and later we can shift autotrading to Zerodha trader platform....

I have been a silent member of this thread. I have not received my brokerage refund yet for Feb 15 to May 15 2012 even after writing to them 3-4 times.

Re: 60 day challenge.

I am ok with that but Zerodha's problems were not the winners who traded with just one account and made profits throughout the month. If I understand it correctly some people opened multiple accounts.....but as per existing competition rules nothing wrong in that ...and if that was the problem, plug that with some conditions....

And Zerodha is not going out of pocket by rewarding the winners....they are just refunding what they have charged....but I guess there are some other legal issues....they can be avoided if they apply their mind to it....

I am ok even getting a note of appreciating the performance and just a tocken Rs 100 as prize.....or Rs 10,000 to top 20 performers ....something on these lines...but your suggestion is also good....only thing is i will be missing the competition and benchmarks in next Zerodha challenge.....

See Boss You must understand that htey are here to do business and not for charity.

One You dont have a broker present in the country with such less brokerage.

Second the service offered is best of class

Then 24X7 support

Then they are returning your brokerage(which btw is their sole source of income if u havent realised)

Then u want them to reward you as well

Put yourself in their shoes.

I just dont understand the mindset some people have.

Even though I have not received the brokerage refund, I am not complaining really. I am sure they will credit the money to my account soon. I respect Zerodha and their service, and feel they are offering one of the best deals to a trader. Only problem I face is that they offer margin for equities on only a limited number of stocks, same with RKSV. Other than that, everything is pretty cool.
