The reason that I am going to let this be is because I traded the way I had planned, contest or no contest. My strategy was based on the fact that brokerage was going to be deducted from my profits. The contest and the brokerage refund was just an added excitement, with the understanding that it is just a temporary thing. I was not really going for the brokerage. Also, I really do not have the time to follow-up with this thing. Plus it is an otherwise great experience to trade with Zerodha. I may look for other options to trade in equity but for derivatives, I may stick with Zerodha. That's my viewpoint on the whole thing.

bro, i am NOT telling to stop trading with them. i am still using nokia, as a product it fulfills my need, but after that as a co. they lost reliability. i stop recommending. if zerodha doing this, then same thing with zerodha. My point about reliability, which is more important here i.e. in case of broker, b/c i can't be always alarmed to check whether zerodha changed their charges, rules/conditions or anything without notifying.

still, think this is a wrong decision taken in hurry, confusion or something else, and hope Zerodha will do what is right and 'ethical'.

@ tradetech...As time pass snapshot shows, equity intraday was part of the challenge and not delivery based.. If all your pure intraday trades made money let us know..the brokerage for that bit will be refunded... Any proceeds from delivery based trades wouldnt be considered during this bit.. If u r still in the money and it is not refunded, send an email with my name and ur client I'd.. Will get it done...

If all your pure intraday trades made money let us know..the brokerage for that bit will be refunded... Any proceeds from delivery based trades wouldnt be considered during this bit.. If u r still in the money and it is not refunded, send an email with my name and ur client I'd.. Will get it done...

Well, all, I repeat, all the trades in my a/c and my wife's a/c were purely intraday. There were no delivery based trades. The brokerage for the contest period for both our a/c's amounted to approximately Rs. 5000/- in total, and both our a/c were quite deep into profits, so no chance of any ambiguity there. I have not been able to calculate the exact amount of the brokerage, but I leave it up to you guys as you know your backoffice software better.

FYI - We don't have a demat a/c with you, neither have we connected any other demat a/c with you, so no chance of any delivery based trades.

I am trading with RKGLOBAL since six months. I have three accounts. All diet odins. Upto this day i have not faced any problem with the trading platform. I am a full time professional trader. I am using online terminals since 2000 march. But RKGLOBAL is the best. I trade minimum 10 lots per day in each account.

WIth Odin u can trade as many accounts at a time as u want
