I am bored asking the same question to them several times

They simply don't know the exact date. All we can hope for their 2nd birthday and even by then the NEST platform doesn't came about. We may have to wait for Diwali (Muhurat trading).
or new yearday 2013 or their 3rd birthday or diwali (Muhurat trading) 2013
or new yearday 2014 or their 4th birthday or diwali (Muhurat trading) 2014
or new yearday 2015 or their 5th birthday or diwali (Muhurat trading) 2015.

Dear Sachin,

People have been waiting indefinitely for your new platform.

It is always getting postponed, for one reason or the other. You always repeat
the same thing - that you are losing more than we do.

Ok.. you are not concerned about our opportunity cost. But are you at least
worried about your own loss?

You blamed everything on government administration, bureaucracy, red tapism
etc.. But when the ball is in your court now, are you not acting in the
same way as the others, who caused the delay?

Sadly, you are not even announcing a tentative date for its launch.

So, how long are you going to keep us in dark and get away with it?

All good things take time.

It's only the hustlers who come rushing in, the good ones wait before getting in the act..
Well, these are some of the proverbs that are applicable in this scenario. I would rather they took as much time as they need, but in the end deliver a bug-free product.

For live trading, I wouldn't want to be a beta-tester for the new software.

For me, the delay in launching of the new product is ok, so long as they don't have to spend the next 6 months or so listening /answering to the cribbing about this problem or that problem from the customers. Also, I don't want to be in the present situation where I have a problem, post it here and even call them to report it, and not receive any reply, as with this post.

Fully agreed with you.

If Zerodha is blaming only to government then how can they get the existing trading terminal functional?

It's simple that they just want to delay themselves and don't want to improve further.

FNO and NSE equity is not only that traders looking for. Existing terminal hardly supports hardly 1/4 part of trading and investment.

Guys, there are things which are sometimes not under your control.. As a business I would not be able to share it with you..Hopefully you will appreciate it... I jumped the gun and put it on this forum and it is my bad that I did it.. I should have done only once everything was ready.. So you could blame it on me for letting you know this way early than it should have been done.. As Zerodha we have never communicated with any tentative dates for the equity launch on the Ztrader... That said, I am hoping to have something concrete for you by tuesday on when we can go live...

Hello Zerodha, I have mentioned the following problem earlier somewhere in this thread and received no response. Please explain the following problem.

I sometimes receive this message "Enabling Broadcast for Touchline Broadcast DD failed". This message occurs even when the "INT" and "BRD" are showing green lights.

This is a disturbance during the trading hours.

Today, I was able to log in only on the 4th attempt, after closing NOW 3 times.
This error is a bug on NOW, this has already been communicated to the NOW team.. They have told that it would be done soon...

Hi Zerodha

I would like to know whether in BSE one can sell STOCK OPTIONS before expiry date ?

I guess in NSE its not possible.
Whichever exchange options trade on, you can buy or sell Stock/Index options..

I guess what you are trying to ask is, if stock options can be exercised before expiry(American Options)..

If that is the question, the answer is no... Today all stock options on NSE are European(can be exercised only last day of the expiry) and all stock options on BSE are american(can be exercised anytime before expiry)..

Cheers
