1. NSE on Zerodha trader was due in April last week. Please check your posts on same thread. I understand it got delayed etc, but don't say you never said it.
2. Secondly I think the mail response have slow down as compared to before outsourcing or may be few weeks back. There may be 2 reasons, people are same questions again and again and now your guys are not much excited to answer it or outsourced vendor service is not at par.
3. If you look at your own frequency of response to this thread has slow down significantly. I must agree that so many new people never bothered to read posts and just ask same questions again and again which is bad.
4. Customer ref scheme did not fly well.
5. Nest terminal is not great as much talked about.
6. NEST PLUS charts and data feed is full of bad ticks on MCX. You will find lot of quotes with zero values.
7. NEST PLUS on NSE also gives one tick of 3:30 at 9:15 or 9:20 it self.
8. NEST PLUS also gives nonsence tick at 3:30 showing open value of 9:15 and close of 3:30 which is big black or white candle. It's good to ensure your automated trades from NEST PLUS make you loss.
9. NEST PLUS automated system is truly for new people to make loss. It does not work properly. On AMI you don't have cross over but NEST PLUS gives buy or sell alerts. It's backtesting also shows bad quality, arrows on chart are placed at wrong time.
10. I tried and tested NEST PLUS Premium (automated trades)for last 3 months. Product is not ready for production.
11. Zerodha did not bother to make good offer against RKSV or anyone. I think brokerage refund was counter offer but it boomerang on Zerodha. There has to be good product mix on offer for every customer is simple rule. Zerodha marketing team needs to work hard to put up good partnerships in place which will give more value to brand, customers and revenue to books. Like partnerships with data vendors, shared servers, discounted offer on Amibroker (thru partnership) or similar products, products for options trading on discount, partnership with quality research analysts for reports (provide it as value add at extra cost), fundamental data for amibroker or metastock thru partnership.
*There is no improvement in backoffice product. This stupid backoffice did not work in Chrome from day one.
12. Zerodha added more banks in meanwhile which is good.
13. I am not big trader but I am one of early Zerodha customer, so thought of putting this as regular feedback.
14. I think you need to update your signature and add links to training videos, docs, how to etc. You should have good quality in depth detail you tube video of 1 hr plus showing everything about product.
15. You should place weekly webinars for new / old customers and guests about how to use NEST/ NOW terminal for 30 mins. This should be part of regular customer service. You can use Sabse bolo http://www.sabsebolo.com/ or Webex for such conf calls. Record all important sessions and keep on youtube.com.
16. Even close to 2 years of Zerodha launch, people are still struggling to find out how to place simple orders etc, it's bad.
I think this thread is dying. Nothing new coming out. It's time to close it.

Ok. That looks good. Thanks

I think the NSE/BSE difference comes here only when one want to take delivery of scrip ....right ?

scrip delivery / exercise are done in BSE at any time on or before expiry date.
scrip delivery / exercise are done in NSE only on expiry date.

Am I right ? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You know I am not interested in taking delivery of scrips because that needs lot of funds. I'm interested in buy/sell of stock options or vice versa without delivery/exercise.

All f&o contracts in Indian Stock markets presently are Cash settled.. By theory if you exercise options you should get delivery of the underlying, but what actually happens when it is cash settled is that, based on the closing price of that particular day your position is adjusted..

When you exercise an option, you get only the intrinsic value and not the time value.. So if you have an option, always sell the option in the market rather than exercising the option.. The only time you would probably want to exercise is if there is no liquidity in the contract...

Also remember that when you exercise, the STT is as delivery based trading.. So you would be paying almost 10 times the STT..

That helped a lot..........looks like option trading is not at all complicated as many people say !

Now the real issue is , Is it possible to place BUY / SELL NIFTY OPTION order through NOW Mobile ?

If its possible then please tell me the steps how to place option orders through NOW Mobile.

I want to find first whether option order placement in NOW MOBILE is complicated or not ? I find equity order placement is user friendly in NOW Mobile

Some myths about options:

Options are very risky – Some of us believes that option trading is very risky because you may also lose your entire capital in a trade. However this can be taken care off with a Trading Guideline.

Options are very complex – They are complex if we make them complex. One can trade options in a smart manner by knowing few basic things about it and by applying them in a proper manner.

You can trade in options from NSE NOW Mobile. The app is pretty good. After using it for few days, you will get used to it.

Thanks for all the suggestions, will put forward all your suggestions to the team..

What I said was, the posts on traderji is not official medium of communication.. Our official communication is still the emails that you receive from us.. I am doing customer service and I jumped the gun in letting you all know when Ztrader would be launched for equity.. It looked like everything was ready, until we hit some roadblocks.. Tomm should be when I can officially communicate...

This thread has become pretty repetitive, same questions asked over and over again..This thread has become self sustaining, in the sense, if tomorrow a new person asks a query, one of you will already know the answer and post it.. Objective of open forums and power of social networking is this.. This thread may not have anything interesting for you, but a lot of new guys still get a lot of help..

Have forwarded the feedback of NEST Plus, will wait for a response from Omnesys and let you know...

Our Strategy has always been to keep our business as simple as possible..We will do newer things, but the focus is to keep it simple..

Omnesys has taken over our backoffice vendor.. What this means for you is, integrated front office and backoffice solution.. Multibrowser compatibility will also soon be up..

The people who are asking queries on this thread are not those who have been trading with us for 2 years, the ones who ask question on this forum typically are people who are new..

@mahesh, We work at incredibly low margins, but we are trying our best to provide the best. MCX-SX will go live by November, we will try our best to launch it on the first day they go live.. Our priority for now is to give added features rather than work on pricing... First on the list is ability to trade on multiple exchanges on 1 platform..
