The DP bill is paid by us regularly

Will speak to ilfs and try to clear this confusion out
I have received a bill from IL&FS today ...This is confusing and I'm not happy for the following reasons ...

(1) how much I have to pay in this bill ?

(2)also I don't understand why I have to pay debit transaction charges...We are supposed to pay AMC charge .

(3)why there is previous month's due ?

(4)There is something wrong either IL&FS billing system or Zerodha's bill payment system.

Zerodha ...could you please look at the queries in the bill screencap itself and let me know what to do ?

Earlier Zerodha used to pay. But, now i've to pay. This i got to know after receiving bill from il&fs and finding out that my payment is overdue. And then asking zerodha what to do about it - for which i was told to pay.

And again there is some difference - you are required to pay AMC and not DP charge, which unfortunately isn't clear in the ilfs dp bills.

This time around ilfs bill states that anyone late on payment would face problems wrt carrying out transactions.

demat is the last place you want problems with. esp such silly matters which ought to be taken care of by the broker.

I've been a very satisfied customer of zerodha, and there are 3 accounts as my referral. No complaints except for this issue.

Many thanks for the comment. Zerodha did bother to reply to my comment.

Could you help me further and tell me the email address from which you got the above information regarding bill payment? I could not find the same information in my email inbox, I have tried searching with all possible keywords. ILFS keeps spamming my inbox with their holding status updates, but it seems they did not care to send this email regarding bill payment to me. In that case, will I still be liable for the DP charge or the AMC charge with interest?

Why should I pay for their negligence? That is gross.

Surprised that Zerodha's clear response is still awaited.

Few email ids to whom i've sent across this issue - [email protected], [email protected], [email protected].

What is confusing is the way ILFS sends across the bill and the way they mention the charges.

it would be in your best interest to ask ilfs about your pending dues [if any] amount .

Ultimately, low brokerage is a myth.

I have not been able to place orders in Z Trader several times and had to miss
good moves. Everytime I go to place an order, the application freezes and god
knows when it comes back to its normal state.

What do I do with low brokerage, if I am not able to trade at all?

With just commodities on its head, if Z Trader is under-performing like this (yes,
I tested it on a P-IV PC and an i5 laptop), what is going to happen if multiple
exchanges are put on it?

Zerodha is talking about very big things, excepting basic trading. Time to look
out for better alternatives.

Guys

Some issue with the bills sent by ILFS to you

We have spoken to them and they should revert by end of the day today

Don't worry about the debit transaction charges

You have to pay only the amc charges to them

Give time till evening and I will revert back

@megapixel

hope this clarifies.....We indeed have to pay AMC. When is this AMC due and what to look out for in the countless bills sent from ilfs is something that needs sorting out...

Zerodha,

I am looking for opening a New trading account. Would like to know the following details about Trading Account with Zerodha.

1) Am only looking forward to trading in Derivatives. So trading account would suffice. right?
2) Account Opening Charges
3) AMC
4) Is NOW available on web browsers too? Can derivative trading be completely done on web based NOW platform?
5) Are there any software charges?
6) I'm holding savings account with ICICI bank. So how do I transfer money to Zerodha and how do I withdraw? How long does it take for the tranfer (am only looking for online transactions; NOT cheque drops, etc...)
7) Lets say, I buy 1 lot of Nifty futures @ 5600 and sell @ 5650. In this case, what'll be total brokerage and other charges that I'll be paying (including brokerage, STT, exchange related charges, etc...).
8) And what would be the margin that I have to keep in my account for Intraday trading for the above case
9) And what would be the margin that I have to keep in my account for Positional trading for the above case
10) I've seen in forums (Traderji, ***********), that there are some billing issues with Zerodha (or ILFS). Are they fixed?
11) Are there any charges for Call & Trade option. (Though, I don't think I would use it often)
12) Are there any other charges at all? If so, what are they?
13) Do I need to maintain any Deposit with Zerodha?

@ Fellow traders, Am new to trading. So if there are any other details that I ought to know, please let me know of them too.

Thanks
Sundar
