2. As per brokerage calculator, Total Tran Charge comes to Rs. 440/- per crore of turnover. If that is so then it is too high comparing to most brokers charging Rs. 250/- per crore in MCX.

Yes, too high. There are several of us shouting against such high transaction
charges, but unfortunately they are not reaching Zerodha.

Their birthday package also conveniently omits this area..

1.So suppose have i have open positions in options as of 02-Sept, will they reflect both in ZTrader as well as NOW ?

2.Suppose there is a glitch in Ztrader as there is normally in Transition phases, I can login to NOW to tale positions/square off ?

3.How long NOW will continue before being phased out ?

Other members can comment, but reply from Zerodha will be appreciated .

Thanks & regards

Any update ??

Zerodha,

I saw some comments in the thread about the AMC charge. Before opening the account with you I had asked some queries to your customer care by email, which are answered by Hari and Kunal.

One of my query was about the AMC charge. Which I had probably asked to the Zerodha customer care in this way: Do I have to pay you or the ILFS the AMC charge through cheque or through other method or are you going to deduct the same from my banking account "automatically" every six months?

To this, I was told (probably by Kunal or Hari) that I Do Not need to worry about the AMC charge as it is deducted automatically from client's bank account.

Then what is this fuss about the AMC charge I am hearing here?

I am doing this question because so far No amount/charge for AMC has been deducted by ILFS or Zerodha from my bank account. I have also not paid any amount (except the six monthly charge required as advance for account opening) as AMC charge since I have opened the account with you 10-11 months back, because I became care free after getting that reply from your customer care guys.

But now I am concerned. Will the ILFS guys close my demat account on not receiving the AMC charge from me? Do they have such a right. Can they do so if they wish so?! Many question arises. Kindly answer all of them.

Thanks
Earlier Zerodha used to pay. But, now i've to pay. This i got to know after receiving bill from il&fs and finding out that my payment is overdue. And then asking zerodha what to do about it - for which i was told to pay.

And again there is some difference - you are required to pay AMC and not DP charge, which unfortunately isn't clear in the ilfs dp bills.

This time around ilfs bill states that anyone late on payment would face problems wrt carrying out transactions.

demat is the last place you want problems with. esp such silly matters which ought to be taken care of by the broker.

I've been a very satisfied customer of zerodha, and there are 3 accounts as my referral. No complaints except for this issue.

As Per My Knowledge in NEST plus one can not Place fully automated Orders it will ask confirmations before Place Order is it?
if it is then it will not help to reduce human presence in front of trading terminal.
on that case I don't know what is the edge the trader will get rather from manual order Placing
Getting it automated is an extra step

Working on this aspect and we expect the option to give you completely automated to be live by december

This would cost you extra though

Pricing will be shared later

This is same issue I have been facing for long.

I think Zerodha paying the bill to DP late ...or may be ILFS not updating the site which is the source of all confusion.

ILFS website has only Bill Summary ...but no detailed Bill Report with Bill Numbers. how the heck one would know bill details ?

I have sent a mail to ILFS last week asking where to find detailed bill report so that I can track bill No and bill details.
Let them reply ...I'll share the reply here for the benefit of all

but anyway ..entire thing is a chaos.

Zerodha ..can you please talk to ILFS and tell them that your customers are facing these issues. I hope there is a solution.
The DP bill is paid by us regularly

Will speak to ilfs and try to clear this confusion out

Guys

We will transition slowly from NOW to Ztrader

You will continue to have option of trading on either of the above platform

But if you wish to trade NSE BSE and MCX with same funds then you would have to move to Ztrader

At same time you can't use both the above for NSE for eg buy on one platform and sell on another

Hope this helps
