We are waiting to hear AMC issue resolution. Could you please apprise us whats going on ?

About the AMC issue, we are having discussion with ILFS and waiting for approvals at their end. AMC would still have to be paid by you, but will clarify the billing issue on how it is calculated and not sending you bills for DP transaction which is already paid by us..

Will post as soon as we have a revert..

Sharekhan is already providing Bracket orders for both BSE & NSE cash segments. But I have confirmed from Smart_Trade that bracket orders are available for NSE F&O also in Interactive Brokers. He has an account with them.

Bracket orders facility might still take some time before it is enabled at our end...

About margin requirements on Option strategies..

NSE has made it compulsory to collect the margin as specified by them or else they impose a short margin penalty..

So we will give you margin benefits that is in line with what NSE allows.

Assume you short 5200 calls at 100 and buy 5300 calls 20.. We both know the maximum risk here is 20 points on nifty, but does that mean NSE will let you get into this spread for only Rs 1000 per lot??

No , it won't!!

Calculation of SPAN is a complex formulae, but instead of blocking 24k + 1k, it will give you exposure margin benefit directly and some more.. The same position above can now be done at between 10k to 15k rather than 25k, but it won't happen at 1k...

Wait for the margin calculator to be up, you will get an exact indication of margins required...

What is the procedure to close the Demat account with ILFS as i paid my full dues of 627.90 today and due date was 31/08/2012. In the mail i have stated to close the account as of today WEF 29/08/2012 and have asked for confirmation.

Hope they do it . As i trade only INTRADAY.

Do i need to inform Zerodha ?

From Sept 02 2012 , do we need to download zerodha trader to trade in FNO and Futures , Equity, as somewhere in the discussion i saw zerodha mentioning from 02 sept we can trade on zerodha trader, does this mean NOW Terminal will not work , off late everyday it freezes and updation is slow on NOW .

Everything will continue the way it is now, we will start shifting people in batches after informing them.. We will start off with clients who do both equity and commodity trading.. People who wish to continue on NOW can do so..

WE are not looking at our own DP presently.. Only 1 % of our revenues come from delivery business.. Now that we have figured out a way to give margin against collateral using ILFS DP, we are not looking at this aspect for atleast another 6 months..

Thank you for your detailed explanation. One more clarification needed.

In my first trade Bought one lot Crude oil @ 5355 and sold at @ 5350 with a loss of with a loss of Rs.650/-. (inclusive of all taxes)

In my second trade sold one lot Crude oil @ 5347 and bought at @ 5350 with a loss of with a loss of Rs.450/-. (inclusive of all taxes)

So, total loss as per my calculation will be Rs.1100/-. But in my Contract note
it was mentioned as Rs.550/-. (inclusive of all taxes).

Kindly clarify me what is the actual calculation done for above trades to enable
understand.

There must be some mistake you are making in calculations,

Can you ping me your client id and tell me the contract note date, will check and reply..

In the NSE site it is written that upto Nov 02, 2012 no transaction charges will be levied on FTSE100 contracts. Can you confirm this from your side?
