We are testing this rule of either 0.01% or 20rs whichever is lower for 2 days on currency from tomorrow....This rule would be applicable for equity derivatives as well from monday onwards...

We definitely don't distinguish between high networth or low networth traders... All you guys should have realized the same by now...

Cheers...
Dear ZERODHA,

Thanks for consider 0.01 % 0r 20 Per ...whichever is lower, beneficial for low volume trader. I hope you will not lost much revenue. Now I am hoping for do some thing to beneficial for high volume traders, daily brokerage is more than Rs xxxx (in 4 digit). So it will compensate your revenue. I hope understand my request and please call me if possible. Thanks

Hello guys,

Request real time advice on trading stock futures. Suppose if i want to buy 1 lot of Opto circuits - Oct expiry, how much margin wud i require? in this case how many shares does 1 lot of opto contain?
Another newbie bothering, bear with me pls.

Thanks for that. I checked few times and couldn't see any bank list on the dropdown at NOW. But I could see the 3 banks logo at the bottom. When I click on the dropdown it only shows, 'SELECT BANK', nothing under it.

Can you advice ?

Regards,
Sameer.
Is that only me getting this error ?
I tried from 2 different PCs at different times, and couldnot see anything in the dropdown as in the attachment. I think this is window for fund transfer.

I second that. Its the highest in the Industry. If the transaction charges go down, and 1 paise or 20 rs, is applicable, you will find other brokerages out of business.
And whats the workaround for transaction SMSes?
Also, have not received the Email for the Trades done today
@sumo and niran,

As I had told earlier, this part is not as easy to change as our pricing plans... These would reduce eventually...Tough to tell the time that will take for this though...

Trying to figure out the workaround for the sms, will keep you all posted...

Dear zerodha, see how well your response to my request was taken by all small investors and how badly we all were waiting for such option. Only 1 more query, will it be for all derivatives or only equity FnO? Also do we have to enable currncy trading to get such benefit or will it be by default to all users?
default to all users!!! no more plan A and Plan B... Just one plan... Rs 20 or 0.01% whichever is lower.... should be applicable for equity derivatives from next week...

Hi avi, We are venturing out into something very interesting with our new networking platform...Should help you quite a bit in your education....

About opto circuits...

Login to the backoffice, you will see a file called SPAN margin file... THis file has list of all futures contract that trade on NSE.... Will show you the lotsize and total margin required... Total margin is required to keep the contract open overnight and 40% of this margin is required for intraday positions...

For Opto circuits, lot size is : 1000 and Total margin required is Rs 43000... if you want to take intraday 40% of this so around 17k...

Hi Sam,

The dropdown box on now will show up only if your bank accounts are axis or hdfc... For all the other banks, login to backoffice, go to my accounts, online payment request and transfer the funds...

Cheers...
