Hi Akash, really sorry about this.. requests for stock as margin is hardly any and all our focus right now is getting our commodity platform go live... That said our backoffice team is trying to come up with a fix for the margin issue especially when taking arbitrage kind of positions...

this question might sound silly but how many KB/sec does NSE Now consume if i open 3 scrips at a time. you can see this with DUMeter trial version.
My current terminal Diet Odin consumes around 3KB/sec with 7 scrips open.
I am asking because i am on a 2.5gb monthly plan. I also read somewhere that Nse now consumes crazy bandwidth like 25mb for half hour. Can anyone please confirm? I am opening a/c with Zerodha soon, so need to know this info before opening a/c.

use fiddler to understand how much bytes each execution in web is consuming... though fiddler is not mainly meant for this.

By default, fiddler takes IE as web brower.

i've edited my post. i am yet to open a/c with zerodha, so don't have Nse Now.

When you trade options, say you buy 1 lot of 5000 calls for Rs 100... Your turnover is (5000 + 100) x 50 = 255000.... You pay 0.01% of this turnover or Rs 20 whichever is lower... 0.01% of 255000 is Rs 25 and hence you pay Rs 20 which is lower...

Are you sure of this .01% in options? Your executive told me there is no provision of .01% in options and its charged Rs 20 flat.

It applies to options as well... Explaining how turnover works is tricky for newbies and hence we keep it easy by saying Rs 20/executed order no matter what the size...

I have 55 scrips running on nsenow.exe on my laptop used exclusively for this purpose from 9 am to 3:45 pm and it consumes around 65 mbs within that period, give or take a couple of mbs.

I am planning to open an account with Zerodha. Am a student as of now, and hence do not a salary bank account as yet. I have a joint account in ICICI, where I am NOT the primary holder. Can I link this bank account to Zerodha? I can sign cheques from this bank account without any requirement from primary holder. Also, I had been using this bank account with IIFL.

Rupees in small font and paise in BIG font.Can't you change rupee in BIG font
and paise in small font? Small request.
