NSE NOW system will show you the profit you made without calculating charges. While in back office you will get the real profit after deduction of all applicable charges like brokerage, stamp duty, call n trade, transaction cost, etc. Example: If you buy 10 shares at 100 and sell them at 120 then NOW will show you 200 profit but at the end of day back office will show the actual perfect profit figure which will be less than 200. I will recommend you to maintain an Excel file of your trades so that you can know your charges as per Zerodha brokerage calculator and your profit. (still have any doubts on this?)

(Do remember that I have only F&O account at present and the Futures chart for intraday in Nest Plus is having wrong data in the last candle of 15:30hrs or 15:31hrs, so check this in Stock chart also. If this data is wrong then Technical study will give you wrong data!)

I don't know any great free intraday charting software. You can ask this to other members! I know that www.chartnexus.com is one of the good End of Day Free charting software.

chartnexus giving eod data for how many scripts?
also the process of getting data from now to amibroker ..isnt it limited to 5 scripts?
amibroker i guess version 5.3 is available without any license issues,
5.4 onwards license issues appear (unless u are lucky not to have it)

CharNexus is giving 3 years of Historical data for all NSE and BSE scripts. (I have not checked BSE script list). Special trading session days' data by NSE, BSE are not included.

NOW to Amibroker: I have used for Nifty Futures only because i trade only Nifty. But there is another FREE "Real Time Data Feeder for amibroker" available at : http://www.stocklive.in/Download.htm which has more scripts. This data is from yahoo finance so accuracy is not guaranteed. (It is better to keep signed in to yahoo mail in internet explorer while using this! However not necessary.)

www.icharts.in Rs.399 & Rs.699 (both are different schemes, check it in site) per month charting service is available if anyone has higher trading amount and looking for good charting facility. Better to pay for one month and try it before paying for more than one month.

NSE has also FREE (& Accurate data) charting facility with 3 min. delay and each time manual refresh required. There are many technical indicators and 1min. to 1 hour charts are available for only 1 day. ChartNexus is quite good.
Provides good data
but only thing i saw volume indicator doesnot have colour, thus we cant use volume indicator,
if anyone has a way around it , and can get volume , please share !
