I would not go with Moody or S&P or some other rubbish. All these guys incl. US of A wants India to give religious tolerance... that is plain BS!

I heard first hand on a flight from Switzerland to Mumbai just few weeks after Tsunami struck... The group of church members were discussing how much land can be now bought at coastal TN across various villages through the local churches here. They were talking only numbers... a major investment game in the name of religion! The shelters etc. that were built are just plain eye-wash! Now these investments are at risk.. hence this tirade!

There is no good intentions from our critics... everything is to do with money. Only the unlettered would fall for such guile.
One of spiritual mathaji Amrithanantha from south broght land in US and built asram to give spiritual food to US citizens, if she built this in any poor African country and give food and clothes to starving children it would be more meaningful. But mataji only interested in developed countries , bcos she knows how the investment to be multiplied :D

Vikas,

Unless we think we are infalliable, can do no wrong, and think that all criticism has no iota of reality..... We can reject outright what Moodys or others have to say.

As is said before, do we not not have the belief in ourselves, the strength of conviction to say - I hear you. But here are our arguments to refute your arguments.... and yes, these are areas where we can certainly work upon or improve.... But our egos are fragile - and cannot differentiate betweeen what can be refuted and what can be accepted!

Not to say Moodys or others don't have an agenda. They surely do. But if we can be more accepting of valid criticism, it can only be to our benefit.... instead of casting all in the same mould.

Nothing my friend..Japan has rating of Aa3 which has 10 trillion $ debt. continue to go in depression ever few months and then come out of it and then again... it has no future...

The other guy saying to listen to critics well you have think western countries have any gud intentions for india..you are dreaming...the game plan to stop india from becoming a superpower just like china and that is why so forgien funded ngo are there in india to do the dirty work and it has been confirmed by our IB..So learn to differnte between enemy and critic

Yes, it began with the writers returning their reward (before that the FTII students protest) and has snowballed into the President and RBI governor getting involved. Now an international company.

If it grows further, it may affect our foreign trade.

As this is "Traders Lounge" thread, here some thing out of the box:

Did anybody here ever hear about "Punt Guns"?

I am not a fan of guns. Still: Today I was reading an article about those guns who are in the mean time forbidden in the US. Now have a look at the size the gun has in the shown picture:

Holy moses, what a size

This specific gun shown was used to hunt ducks. But with this one you even kill a dozens and more of them just in one shot, as this have been "Scatter guns" which you could load with some three pounds or more on "Shotgun ammunition". After too many birds have been killed with such guns, they forbid those guns. Now let's guess how long it takes until they finally forbid any guns in the three letter country :confused:

Here the article you most probably will not understand, but you will understand the pictures shown. Crazy.

And here the one from "Wikipedia", which gives some information in English: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punt_gun
