Dear guddupaul & sorabji

Sorry... I am just a beginner. I collected this list in my search to find a broker having office in India.

Please do some research and post if anything is useful for the benefit of all.

I basically wanted to know about other brokers. Currently I am trading with XTB and they are good, especially with their offer and their specialists.

I have tried Alpari and forex4you earlier; 'Alpari' said less than 2 pips offer, but when I started using their platform, it hardly showed less than 2 pips. Also, the pay in and pay out charges are more. 'Forex4you' are involved with a lot of expos, but their reps and specialists are not that good.

'Angelbroking' I suppose does not offer many instruments. They majorly focus on INR pairs which have less liquidity in the market. Others I haven't tried. If anyone has, please post the reviews here so that everyone knows.

I dont mind up to 2 pips spread. better if I get anything 1 pip or below that. but then there are other conditions that come along with it. What are the minimum deposits needed to start an account? mode of payment/withdrawals, do they accept local cheques etc. if they have a India office?

Since I am with XTB, I can tell you what they offered me. I don't know whether they accept local cheques, I paid using my credit card. Though their minimum deposit is $2000, I negotiated and got it for $1500.

Though they offer both, fixed spreads and floating spreads even below 1 pip, I chose to go for fixed spreads, because I've just started learning to trade and it becomes confusing to keep track of the floating spread for every trade you make.

Yes, they have a Mumbai office at Andheri and their specialists are good enough.
Try negotiating a deal with them, they are quite flexible with their offer. Try contacting on 9503026000. His name is Ashwin.

Guys, if you can possibly share info about services offered by other brokers, how flexible they are, their local office etc. it would be good to have all this information on a single thread. will help people to choose better.
