Ok, highlighted portion is the main point....If you say you're doing well, I am not going to doubt you......

Your first reply was bordering on the "empty vessels make more noise" kind of thing...now you too are talking sense....:thumb:

Good to know that you have successfully transitioned from a job to full time trader....all the best....
Ok so I had doubts now looks like itz confirmed that you are one of the recently banned members. Why I'm saying dt coz u seem to pick up only one point from my prev post. Anyways.. be happy whoever u are !!!

btw... you had it all wrong. My first post was merely indicating dt Just coz one missed to catch the 1st min morning move or gap, doesn't mean trading is not profitable and reliable. And any normal trader would understand this and not complain about it.

Let me quote dt again....

It is days like these....that remind me.....not to lose my daytime job....
Of course I am referring to the huge gap up/down....movement in the first 1-2 mins....
To the contrary of ur belief, gaps are most of the time in favor so good traders would have actually minted loads of money today. ..for intra also there were enough move today to make at least easy 50 points (barring the morning move)... and such a 1 min steep move doesn't matter to serious traders .

Even if the first morning move someone is unable to catch, the market will give many opportunities ( 2-3 minimum) to enter in the price move during the day...we get very durable moves in the afternoon session too....if someone had caught yesterday afternoon's move, still very good money was there to be made even for daytraders...

Hi Manish,

People like you are inspiration for those who are interested to become full time traders. Good to hear that you transformed yourself successfully to full time.
I also dream to become a full time trader one day... Practicing now the art of trading :) hope the the day is not too far.
Thanks but trust me there are many ppl here in TJ to be inspired from. For me personally.. ST Da is among top.. there are others like Saint, pratap, Raaghav, Anvy, Karthik etc that I hv learnt a lot from. Some of these ppl aren't active anymore.. but just look back to some of their old threads... literally gems. Ppl outside sell the things for thousands and lakhs that these ppl have shared here for free and taken pain to give time to explain to learners. So all they are inspiration brother.. I'm merely just another trader who would continue to learn nd share in TJ ..!!

Exactly Dada..!! This is wht I hv been trying to tell. As a trader our aim is to be break even, make small profit, small loss.. and when in favor, make big profit. Why to make hue and cry about what got missed and start questing the trading profession itself. We don't necessarily have to catch everything...even after the 1st move, there was time to trade in the afternoon session for decent profits and this will always happen. Even if it doesn't happen, there is always another day. :)

Yes , profit /loss distribution of profitable trader should be few scratch trades, few small loosers, few small winners and few big winners...BUT NEVER A BIG LOSS...that will take care of the ledger over period of a week, a month, a quarter or an year.

ST sir, what I admire you for, in addition to your trading genius and humane nature is, you always mistype losers as loosers.....

PS: Should be taken only in lighter sense....all respect to you....please delete this message after reading....

Oh...my spelling mistake...good that you pointed out.:D and no issues about pointing my mistakes....I commit plenty of them. I have no illusion that I do not commit any mistakes...we all make mistakes don't we ?? Why delete the post...let it be...happy to own up my mistake, will correct from next time.

Thank you sir....you are once again proving why you are up there....:)

There is a dialog in a tamil movie..."the word 'sorry' is not in my dictionary"

I expected a similar dialog from you: the word 'loser' is not my dictionary....

as the above dialog is more apt and true....

ST, just a general question out of curiosity :-D

Your posting has reduced in the recent few days - sometimes to just 1 post a day?

On a holiday or something?
