Reasons for crash in morning...

1. Huge amount of stoploss got triggered as like a chain reaction.
2. profit booking as is it Friday.
3. No buyers at higher levels.
4. Dirty Trick by smart money.
5. I bought put yesterday.

Jokes apart, though Nifty is back in the green as of the moment, I wonder if the flash crash is an ominious warning?

What is working in the back of my mind is that the Govt. announces the much awaited big bang reforms, and the market hardly moves.

Not a good sign really.

With bulls everywhere, I am taking the opportunity to exit my long term investment longs. I may be wrong, and the market may well move higher, but but am happy closing with gains as of the day.

What is working in the back of my mind is that the Govt. announces the much awaited big bang reforms, and the market hardly moves.

Because everyone knows that the announcement is not enough, that these reforms need approval of the Parliament. UPA does not have a majority in the Rajya Sabha.

I was wrong in picking the bottom too early in this pair earlier. Today I am quite certain the bottom is in place and the target of 54 remains. It will be a swift move. This coincides with the reversal seen in the equity market.
