Hi Vijay,

its nice to visit ur trade. yet to read it from start, just a query, y'day first bar low as u mentioned made a low 5532, n u said SL did not hit. yes urs couldnt be, but it has to be by rule if u r following something. so if its triggered what will be the next sar in that scenario? i think its 1st June high + ...something. then it will be taken out today. so plz post ur views on it.

According to my strategy, SL hitting and changing your trade bec of gap down/up is not advisable. But still i will enter the trade, for ex, in this case, short. But i will exit on the 30/60 mins high. But wouldnt go long at the same level. In such cases you need to wait till the market recovers completely and enter long again. I have taken all this kinda situations into consideration when i backtested my system.

Also i have kept the SL one day before (after market order). Still the SL didnt hit. I guess it will be the case for most of the people. If not we need to act as i said in the above para.

Also if the SL hits during the market hours in a normal trading day without huge gap up/downs, its a definite trade change. You should go short if you are in long and vice versa.

Thanks
