Nifty Futures Positional Trading

In Favor of Bears.

Currently, the stocks of performing sectors are fairly overbought. So what are we left with:

1. RBI slamming the banks... so banks are killing Nifty.
2. Performers are reverting to the mean... so FMCG and Pharma are correcting
3. Energy sector is reversing, since RIL has met resistance at Rs.950

All in all, Nifty has less room on the upside and more on the downside. Then Sub 5900 levels on the cards?

FMCG is seeking ema support, do not short.

Profit Booking Strategy.

Will sell ATM 5800 PEs to collect 80 points, only if I get an appropriate place to put TSL. Else, I will wait and watch.

The fall was vertical, therefore the TSL is unclear. I hence chose to exit 40% position at 190 points profit.

I am expecting a daily pivot low formation in the next week. This will give more clarity in booking profit. 60% position is awaiting consequences.

I tend to be content after 10 times return on a trade like this one... but I see this as a weakness.
