Booked 20% more profit at 5762 (NF 5800). Could not resist. Now no more profit booking. Will wait for a pullback, which is going to be sharp due to short-covering.

There are too many short positions accumulated in last 4 days and Nifty has reached a strong support on Weekly and Daily time-frame.

This winning trade is not a result of technical analysis. In fact, technical analysis was minimum, mental analysis was grueling.


Have Set all exit at the completion of gap. I do not see much opportunity in being patient anymore.
With that said, essentially I will be waiting for a pullback to buy puts. This is a reasonable thing to expect, since price is stretched pretty far away from e15, around 200 points. The highest stretch in recent times is 224 and 215.

Heavy premium of 44 points in NF indicates one thing and one thing only...

Big Pockets carried forward their long positions from July. Market did not even take a breathes and went ramming down. This did not give them a chance to alight.

So, as the market goes closer to the average, the losing longs will take that door and the premium will come down.

It'd be best to wait for a reliable trigger and confirmation before taking in for longs, which currently is akin to jumping in front of a speedy train.

Will wait for HOD break+filter to buy CEs. Expensive but safe.

High Premium Mystery is now solved.... and I can take my afternoon nap.

Folks have bot NF since July and are expecting Benny-boy to say something dovish. This will give hope of more $$ flooding into Emerging Markets taking our Nifty back to 6000 or whatever.

If he says something hawkish or neutral then still minor pullback is due... with Nifty being at a strong support and being oversold.

So, all in all it looks up from here. One trigger is needed.

Big-pocket Bulls have been setting us up the entire time. They have been waiting and expecting Benny to make a dovish statement tonite. And hence allowed uninformed bears, like us, to build positions.

Only to open 100 points gap-up tomorrow which would create panic as we run for cover!
