Hi psvaja!

How do I configure OptionsOracle to test NIFTY stratergy.
When I type NIFTY and say UPDATE, it is saying that NO COMPANY FOUND.
Is it only for Stock Options?
Please help.

go to config and change ur server to NSE-India

go to config, change server to "Dynamic Server NSE-India 1", than type "NIFTY" and than click update. you will get entire chain of nifty.

the symbol "Nifty" ,the error message "No such symbol "

Never used the software, but logically it would need S&P CNX NIFTY instead of Nifty.

if u have already selected Dynamic Server NSE-India 1 in the Online Servers and Stock Exchange Selection

Check the "User Proxy " check box. Leave the text-box empty..
make sure u click on save amd not on cancel so that the settings get updated...restart the program...
next if u happen to have a firewall plz check if the program can access the Internet...
and
To check the internet connection use -
Contact Us -> Advance... -> Check Internet Connection -> Close -> Send

you may need to turn-off windows firewall as well as antivirus' firewall. I think problem will get resolved. lateron, you can configure your firewall to allow access

Somehow cant find where i posted this.... But i said that as there were soo many problems of High margin + Complication in the strategies i was no longer going to continue this months Strategy....

I am trying to find newer ways now, where hopefully less of the margin will be used and is less complicated.

Will try a strategy where we can hold it for longer period and not try to trade in it so that ppl who are now active all the time during the trading hours can also benefit from it....



**If we had actually held My strategies till now .... We would have been in an awesome profit , but In reality if i continued to trade in this we wont have been in so much profit as we are right now, but still in very good shape.

Anyways Wat happened has happened, and now lets look for October....
