Very good application you have developed

realy superb

some improvment req.

1. profile creation- as there is limitation to nse bse exchange if added any other symbol for yahoo ( i.e. ^FTSE ^DJI etc.) profile disabled, in all other this type of application it is not happen
2. login should not complesory as some one dloding eod or delay data login is not req
3. selection for refresh interval or setting for it

such few thing if you can add it is very helpfull to user

there is a uniq problem for backfill in odin data as for some reason odin stopped this data will not be available any where.
and odin symbol master list frequiently changes.

for this i sujest that for odin profile creation must be in such a way that odin watch list can be prepared in chartdata profile from master file of odin and it will loaded in odin. and for this profile or market watch there is facility for alternative symbol for yhu i think that way possible to backfill odin data gap from yhu

Simply Great, finally you got it on your own. I am programmed to do the same what you had done manually but it seems like browser settings conflicted and doesn't signing in automatically, i will resolve it soon. Thanks for letting me know this.

I am able to get the functionality as envisaged with NSE Stocks and Yah00 option. My OS is Vista Home Premium and used the data into FCharts.

I have logged into Yah00 Mail with the option 'Keep me logged in for 2 weeks unless I logout'. I do not use the Yah00 login feature within the program and do not face any problem.

Yes, your system must be connected to internet if you want to run chartsdata. This is because, all your bacfill/Yah00 datas are retrieved online and these options will work only when you are connected to internet.

Sure, will incluede this option in my next release.

It might not be useful for you but a lot of guys wanted this option, but unfortunatly it is not working well with lot of guys due to different browser settings, i guess. I will look in to it and resolve as much as i can.

Hmmm, currently 1sec refresh for Amirbroker, 5 sec refresh for metastock and custom time interval for fcharts. To which TA software you need custom time interval?

such few thing if you can add it is very helpfull to user

The naming convention between ODIN and YAH00 has been automatically done in the program and it will not differentiate whether you are using YAH00 or ODIN in the charts. For ex, if you use RELIANCE in ODIN and RELIANCE.NS in YAH00, final script name would be RELIANCE in charts. For F&O, i designed the naming conventions like SCRIPT_MONTH for Futures and SCRIPTmonthPUT/CALLstrikeprice for Options. You will find it friendly on using it frequently.

I am thinking of including Custom Symbol Naming as said by one of our members here.

Another issue.

With SATYAMCOMP (10 Characters) of NSE, the data is exported into FCharts with the ticker name SATYAMCOM (9 Chars, may be taken from Yah00 symbol). This may be translated back to the full 10 char NSE symbol. Same may be the case with other 10 char NSE symbols also.

This will standardize the symbols based on NSE.

hi members,

anybody? who has successfully downloaded the setup after 21st Jan 2009 morning 11:00. Pls guide if I m doing anything wrong to download, I m removing all spaces but unable to find the file on 4shared.**m.

Perhaps techdump has removed the file from there for updation of software codes. if not so, pls help me.
