hi columbus, I have a bsnl broadband connection and every time I login to RKG there is a " connection busy error " problem, I have to attempt mostly 3-4 time to able to login. This problem not arises when I login from aietel gprs, or tata docomo gprs...
what is your experience with payouts? how many days delay..?
why they are not closing your account ? what are they saying, in this matter..?
It will be helpful to all RKG users....if you reply to above ....

First I got account LOCKED message.It is a minor one.During my trails I got
USER SUSPENDED message.They are neither rectifying nor closing my account.Entire February went like this.(21 days)My email account is full of
their correspondence.Finally I am forced to approach SEBI.

I use odin from rkg as source for extracting data to amibroker. Funny part is when i use a 512 kbps connection of bsnl, the odin is stable with just 5-6 price freeze whole day. when i shift to 3.1 mbps connection of mts, the same odin gives extremely frequent disconnection. The expert at rkg's tech support kept trying for few days over teamviewer to resolve the disconnection. After a few days, i stopped calling them.

surprisingly, NOW from nse is extremely fast and refreshes every second.

Its frustrating and i have stopped using their account for day trading.

The customer service of RKG is pathetic.Previously they used to respond
very fast, in case your account is LOCKED.
I am opening an account with ZERODHA.
 
whenever my rkg account freezes or password gets locked, I send an email at [email protected] and i get a reply within 2 mins and i have tried this more than 20 times.. mostly my fault.. hehe

the connection busy error occurs at times due to port settings 9017 etc something.. u can check the port settings in odin diet that is when it has issues..

one thing i have noticed when i use normal wired broadband connection of 1mbps the quotes get updated without any issues... maybe a small freeze in a day or two for a few seconds that it... and they moment i switch to datacard 3.1 mbps from reliance or tata (i got both). i see frequesnt price freezes.

other than that.. i didnt hv any major issues till now..

In case account is LOCKED send a mail to them to get a reply within 10 min.
Many times I got fresh password. In the present case it is USER SUSPENDED
message.

dont know why but i have used firefox chrome and ie and i never got this user suspended error, it might be due to some other issue.. also ie seems very slow due to which i use firefox and chrome.. the new ie9 beta is awesome and much faster.. i use that sometime and it works very well and quotes update is also better compared to previous version of ie.

you need to check if you use a diff password and that does multiple tries etc..

Please do check you contract notes daily.

My yesterday's contract note showed brokerage varying from 52.54 to 53.51 per Nifty lot, instead of Rs. 9. This has happened for the first time with me in last three years. Now i'll have to go back and check all my earlier contract notes from RKG!

I guess internet service can also be an issue. For example, i was not able to log into my yahoomail account or open RK Gkobal website with MTNL delhi internet. But when i connected through airtel internet, there was no problem at all.
