R K Global Issues!

Yes, the port remains same...RK Global has just added new BCAST server and is linked with VSNL. I got this info. from RKG Delhi office.
Yes, the route trace to 59.163.43.166 leads to a static vsnl connection, presumably in Bombay

When I had called, they asked me to apply the bsnl.reg file available on their site. This has a different broadcast ip of 59.90.253.24 (presumably BSNL in Kolkata). Have not tried it as, unfortunately, when I applied the registry the trading password got affected and Odin would not accept the new password after RKG had reset it.

i am using the web lite version and I found that the rates columns are blank. The problem started from yesterday 2-30 onwards. I have called them many times, but couldnt get it working. Any body facing similar issue?

Someone was saying that ODIN client was enabled for all web client users since there were going to stop the web client. It should be on one of these threads.

Have to tried downloading and using ODIN from RKG?

Can U also reproduce the IP addresses fro benefit of all...

Hi All,

I am new user of RKG web based online trading.
After entering into the trading site, I am continuously seeing error in the window saying "Unable to establish socket connection" and not able to see the stock prices in the watch list. I have called them about this issue and they told me to install Remote connect software. After installing the software, when I tried running it, It is also giving error saying not able to connect.

If anyone in this loop faced similar issue, could you please help me in resolving it.

Thankx

In ODIN go to TOOLS, then Broadcast Server Reconnect,
click it.
U will get it.
And change the IP address

Otherwise u can go to registries
Funny thing... If I enter an arbitrary IP in the Broadcast Server Reconnect box, the quotes still come in.

For example, I am using 1.2.3.4 and can still see quote updates (slow as usual). Discovered this by mistake as had entered the wrong b/c server ip.

What if you enter the wrong quotes and restart?
You have to log in to the server to get the quotes right?
