Indiabulls/Sharekhan for their excellent charting package

Hi Lazytrader,
I am using both RKG and Sharekhan. I usually trade in F&O segment and prior opening account with RKG I use to trade with Shrkhn. In my opinion Shrkhn sucks in F&O segment, they charge Rs.100/lot one side while RKG charge Rs.9/ lot one side.
RKG Diet Odin contains n number of user friendly reporting features where Shrkhn's trade tiger is a dumb terminal in terms of reporting...every time you have to loginto there webpage to check margins n trades.
Shrkhn accounts books are full of technical jargons (very difficult for freshers to understand).
I accept that charting is good in Shrkhn which is not at all present in RKG Odin cliet. Shrkhn customer service is very good and they also provide tips and market update with complete research which is again a miss in RKG.
So overall I can say if a person want's to trade in F&O then go to RKG, Angel trading (they charge Rs.25/lot one side), Indiabulls

Hi Friends,

After 3 weeks of F&O trading through RKG account, I thought to check how quick & effective there fund withdrawal system is. I placed a request to withdraw Rs.10,000 on 08/09/09 @ 4.00 pm through there Diet Odin terminal fund transfer link and got a confirmation number, after 1 hr I checked there backoffice site and found my request was updated there with comment ''Check number XXXXX for amount Rs.10,000 is submitted". Yesterday I got SMS from HDFC bank that "Amount of INR10,000 is deposited in your account" when I check my bank account yes it was the same check issued by RKG. So, the complete story is they took 1hr or less to cut the check and updated there backoffice records, check took only one day to get cleared. (Maybe both of our accounts are in HDFC bank) overall this transaction created a good picture of RKG for me.

To get charts in odin, go the rkg website and download the charts.ocx and register it then you can get charts in odin as well.

Options brokerage with sharekhan is negotiable, you can get it much lower.

I am using sharekhan now and they charges me Rs.70/Lot without any request. Still its high comparing with other brokerages. I am likely to open new account with RKG or Ventura for F&O soon. But, I am disappointed with RKG's Odin problems saw here. Anyone using ventura?

Yes, it's available with the new version (will all brokers provide now).

wow , thanks for this latest info. You saw any of the Indicators , like BB bands , Stoch or anything like that ?

Hi All,
I am thinking to apply for online trading a/c with RK global since they are charging only 9 Rs per trade both for cash & carry and f&o. I am going for there web based service. Can anyone comment whether R K global services are good or not? Is it advisable to open online web based trading a/c with them?
