maybe u r trying to run trade tiger version 2.0... its too heavy even for a desktop... try the version 1.something... its good n light and will surely work on ur netbook...

The only POSITIVE in TT.2 ,I could see so far now ,you can change the
colours on CANDLES.
You can OMIT many NEGATIVES like:
1.Multi-lingual base
2.Themes
3.Say It!!!!(to do with sharing emotions).......Many small things.....

Loading layouts on startup often crashes in the midst of downloading data for charts - TT2 just freezes up!

Loading layouts on startup often crashes in the midst of downloading data for charts - TT2 just freezes up!

My TT.2 LAYOUT file is not getting loaded, it is interfering with Net connection and whole system is going for tail spin.Though it is not called MIGRATION,going for TT.1 insead of TT.2.

No doubt TradeTiger.1 (TT1.0.4.9).

Hello Phani,
TT1.0.4.9 is much more stable, reliable, has lesser critical bugs, and is memory friendly. The only glaring disadvantage, especially for The Starving Trader's style of swing trading, is the lack of historic data in the INTRA-DAY charts... beyond 5 days, that is.

TT2 is a nightmare, for the most part, even though it looks like they (Sharekhan) tried to do some cool things with it, it is very risky to use in a live market environment. See the second post on this thread for a list of its problems.

Hello Columbus!
It seems like when TT2 crashes upon trying to load layouts, if you can get it to shut down using the task manager and then reload it, it might work. Alternatively, just have to create a new layout. The Starving Trader now creates "backup layouts" in TT2 as well as TT1 in the event of a crash. With so much management of the platform, trading becomes tedious!

Anyone getting a "Authentication system is not ready ... try again later" message when trying to open TT2 this morning? How is one supposed to trade if they have errors like this during live market hours. This is absolutely ridiculous!

Sharekhan is denting their reputation big time with this horrible software!
