Well, I believe the best and surest answer would be coming from Mr. SG himself.

But if you want a 'goofy' answer, based on the stick I just got from Mr. Saivenkat, it will more likely be a repeat of the story 'Birbal ki Khichaddi'*.:)

(To smite the arrogance of king Akbar, Birbal tried to cook a pot of Khichaddi hanging a foot above a tiny candle)

However, see if the following candles can throw a light:

Well I do like KHICHADI, but not like this one. :p

hello Savant Sir,

I wanted to ask you some thing. Regarding the current phase of the market. Its my second year seeing the market develop. And second time i am seeing the FY year ending. And after that the second budget. So whats the special case with this little phase. Does market always tank on FY endings and Budget or tanks in FY ending or rises due to good budget expectation. Means does this thing has any specified impact on our markets. I was just confused with understanding the current phase of market. I hope you must have understand what is my perfect point of discussion this Issue. Please be simple to answer for this querry.

P.S - In the mean time thought of reminding you off my other querry.

Looking at the chart......

There is a gap created between 7th & 8th candle from right... ideally one should look at an entry when the gap is closed..... although the 6th candle tried with partial success to close the gap... but the demand outstripped the supply...hence some gap is still remains to be closed....

Last 3 candles has retraced almost 85% of the big bull candle....

It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see the next trading session... take support around 170 ish and move up & close around 180 levels....

Next Target for RPOWER is 198.40

Simplest way would beee to still go over the dotsssss instead of skipping before you get to the next word
(to give you an idea I have replaced dotsss with alphabets in the above sentence)

That wayyy you would get an impression of my whispering :)

SavantGarde

SG,

Whatz up?

You cannot misguide me in my relentless journey to decode dots.

Hi SK,

Look to getting your invested capital back through staggered selling...

SL of 62 can get hit quite easily on a bad hair day..... ideal SL should be 56.85

Still don't know your entry price or the 'substantial' quantity you hold and not so 'substantial' quantity that you have booked

Dear SG (taking the liberty of addressing you by initials seeing other boarders do so),

One unanswered query from me.

I hold substantial quantities in Dish TV purchased before July. I have booked partial profits during Diwali. Do you think I should hold on for more gains. My current SL is 62 on remaining.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you, Mr SG.

I knew you would be the Oracle of Delphi to decode these 'candlestick' Gods!

P.S. My brother is not Goofy like me, after all, it seems. And it also seems that my intelligent parents' genes found expression in one of us at least! :)

There is no fundamentals as such with UNITECH... it moves with the market or the sector tailwind or headwind....

I still like UNITECH & SOBHA.... from the basket of non-mumbai realty play
By the way....Mrs.G also has her spoils in it....infact most NCR realty has political spoils in them.....

On the topic of spoils.... biggest ones are MFIs..... :) there is very little borrowed from the banks....

Dear SG,

From a fundamentals view point, do you think that Unitech might go down due to the telecom controversy? They may be in risk of losing their 2G licenses or fined for publishing false statements to get the licenses.

Hi Rajput,

To expect for money to ONLY come in and not go out is unrealistic... hence we have various cycles during a calendar year.

In a normal market one can expect 2 cycles of downside followed by an up cycle.

Meltdown of our markets January 2008, started as a normal cycle although a little delayed, it should have been November-December 2007.

Even the current crisis of Ireland is being played out by powers to be... and guess what..... Ireland refusing a bailout is being looked upon negatively.

What the powers to be actually want to achieve is force Ireland to borrow money at higher rates and pay back to the same lenders earlier borrowed money (lower interest rate) that will be due for repayment.... this will end up with a slew Ratings downgrade of various Sovereign Debt... pushing up the borrowing cost....

@SG,

A small doubt.

Cycling should be "up....down....up.....down....."

But, what does it mean "2 cycles of downside followed by an up cycle"

What I understand is "down...down....up...". How it can be? It has to be "down....up....down".

Am I failed to understand the concept?
