Hi TSO, A general question from my end: With the heavy competition for discount broker the margin is under sever pressure, How are you coping up with these challenges? What are the precautious steps you are taking in order to sustain in this business?...
Hello anup,
Competition is everywhere and competition is good. Competition is brutal but encourages efficiencies and benefits the consumers.
Our idea of value to our clients is not just low pricing but a package of attractive pricing and an exceptional customer service. If we try to focus only on one, the other is bound to take a hit.
If low pricing alone would make one successful, offering our services for free would have made us the best broking company in India (or maybe the world). But then we wouldn't stay in business for too long.
We have always tried to maintain a balance between the two.
If you read our earlier posts you'll observe that we've tried to implement most of the suggestions given by the members on this forum. However, we have been very firm on one thing i.e. reducing our pricing further. If we can't earn our profits we wouldn't be able to serve you as well as we would like to. It's better to not do something at all than to do it halfheartedly. So we are proud to say we are here to make profits because we do not want to serve you halfheartedly.
