I was just wondering, you have not included any IT sector companies or Realty sector companies in your list. No Sugar companies either.

Also, what do you think about Coal India? Do you see it as a good investment fundamentally?

I haven't studied Coal India in detail Gauhar, hence can't comment on it.

Realty sector & Infra are not included primarily because I don't expect them to do well in the future. When their time comes, we will look at them.

what exactly comprises of price structure?
1.Is it studying trend along with volume at imp support and resistance level.
2.studying pivots.
3.some sort of pattern formation.
4.just examing price movement and ignoring other things.
Or is combination of some thing else.
Kindly elaborate coz i want to move ahead then just volume analysis.

What is re-rating and How it is done ?

Broadly re-rating is carried when Analysts see Fundamentals improving for a company sector. Under this the results, policies, sector consolidation etc is taken into consideration.

Currently I am thinking about a strategy which can give us about 100 points on Nifty/Bnifty on a Monthly basis. Now whether this comes at one go or it gets divided over numerous number of days is yet to be seen.

I'll let you know in case something good comes up. Meanwhile, post your own ideas on how to do this here.

can u explain what the indicator price volume trend(pvt) conveys mathematically. read up on the net but not excatly what i want to know. and how does it differ from MFI?
