I got assurance today that a senior representative will look in my case and sort it out tomorrow itself. Hopefully, he should be able to get things moving were ever they are struck, either at RKSV end or ILFS. But in any case how can it ever take 3 months to get a demat account opened I fail to comprehend.

We got the approval but are facing some issues with the datafeed. Now it may actually take another quarter to resolve this stuff. Sending a boatload of market data to clients and scaling up to a lot of clients seems to be an issue and something we can only test with a lot of users. Right now we're simulating that internally and seeing scalability issues that we're working through.

I wanted to close my existing demat account from Jan itself when I opened trading account with you (after transferring my holdings to ILFS account) but now I will have to keep it and pay fees for Apr-May-Jun quarter.
