Ganesh i think fundamentally our mkts are strong but we depend on the world indices and their opening i can't understand y do we depend on their openings even technically we are strong till we don't go below 2500 nifty rest let see wats going on

Yes even if our indices depend on world indices US index is at 12 years low Japan indeces is at 26 years low and similarly other indices are down does that mean that Indian markets too are going to touch 12 or 26 years low that comes to be around 1000 points NIfty and 4000 points sensex.......

Dear Ganesh ,

Anything can happen for that matter. Sensex can even reach 2000 level or Nifty may reach 100 too Honestly theres no End to such Guesstimates.
The thing is we have to Try and work out a reasonable target with TA and then Trade accordingly. Like Below 2500 theres very veyr high likelihood of 2250 being tested and IF 2250 breaks ( this level gave a 300 POINT bounce Intraday on Nifty in 1 day ) then Further downside to 1900 levels.
Straightaway to 1000 from 2575 looks very very strange.
There are Mutiple Long term Supports in the way around 1800-1900 levels.
People in India have money and not nearly bankrupt like US. If RIL is available at 800 or 900 many may be tempted to Buy it supporting mkts.
Retail participation right now is very very low ( Supported by low Cash market volumes ) , even investors are waiting with surplus money as all seems prepared to see 2000 levels , Thanks to media channels , someday or other this money will pour in.

Currently ours is a Short on Rise market and am ready to short the mkts anywhere around 2660-2700 with SL of 2750.

Since our markets are "strong" (India story BS) - when other markets fall to 14 yr lows we can fall only to 6 yr lows which will bring us back to 6K. Corporate profits are overstated by at lease 25%, plus the siphoned off profts will be reported as a loss in the coming few quarters - so Ganesh may not be off the mark.

Wait for a couple of yrs and then find a basket of penny stocks and ride it to 10baggers in the next teji (liquidity) cycle.

partialy you are correct Mr ganesh, but i think the markets are getting up after parliment election.

It all depends on the mandate received by political parties and type of parliament either HUNG or MAJORITY !!!!

Dear Friends

Nifty and Sensex are being pushed back on daily basis , and unfortunately when I go short Nifty start rising and when I go long Nifty continues to fall lol ,

But overall I can see that Nifty and Sensex are falling like anything ......

Daily 20-70 points are lost on sensex and 100-300 on sensex....

Even more negative news comes every day saying worlds economy is squeezing faster and faster ...........

I am sure the news flow indicates Nifty will go back to 1000 point and Sensex to 4000 point .........

Do you agree with me ...on this ....how far will markets are expected to fall..........

I am looking for extension of current market downside trend for atleast one year yes I can be wrong also
