Zerodha - Number One Discount Broker in India

is MIS blocked today ?

I am getting rms: auto square off block error on kite
yes, there were terminal messages and also received an SMS about it

No BO,CO,MIS.. dhandha kaise karenge :D

Typical Zerodha, event day came, put nonsensical restrictions on clients bcos their system cannot bear it!! Clap.

There are traders who don't trade daily and trade only on specific trend clear days. Shame they have to deal with this kind of broker. They did not even tell beforehand hand they have such policy of blocking BO, CO etc on event day. Get it straight guys be it budget or brexit this biker will not allow you to trade. Only this broker.

how come these events affect how a software/applicaton performs. VIX is high, Margins are reduced which means lesser number of traders.

with lesser load on server, there should not be any issue to login and trade.

these high VIX levels are rarely seen and should offer options sellers much needed juice to sell. But, not being able to trade at these times creates frustration.

Hope there is an explanation from Zerodha - Nithin explaining the situation and capacity.

Note: as of 11am, kite issues seems to have resolved. Error fetching quotes, try again etc seems to have stopped. Order placing, editing and cancelling working fine now.

Yeah!, BO/CO should work, reduce the leverage to 2x or 1x. But let these Order system work.
At Least some learners like me learn new things on days like these.

BO/CO with 1x Leverage is as good as plain vanilla orders, pls enable them.

Zerodha is protecting its clients from "volatility". So I guess no chance of it even tomorrow or perhaps till the volatility lasts (maybe for week or so!). Makes me wonder they are broker or insurer!
