Zerodha, exactly 13.06 to 13.07 today ZT faced a problem of hanging just before the downmove :D

You have acknowledged that there are issues. Also, this is not a one-off, but quite a few face similar issues.

So why email? Will it help in you taking the matter up with the developers?

Or is it for some of your support staff to try and fix?

If it is for Case 1, then you will get many emails, but if for case 2, many members here know that it may not be of much help - hence silence.

As a trader, I know there is no excuse for this, but give it a couple of trading days more. I cannot really discuss what the cause is on a public forum. We are completely revamping/changing our systems at both our primary, backup, and disaster site over the weekend.
We will try to make up for any inconvenience caused to few of you, by hopefully going live by this month end, on one of the most popular request received from all our traders till date.

you have understand that when the issue comes, traders first job is to reduce his risk at that point. He will not have the time to even think he has to send an email at that instance and once the 'event' is over , he will not bother to send email. He will have to try and restart his terminals and get things moving.

Hope you understand this, just because people don't email/call the same issue doesn't mean they don't have it.

If this was the case i would send you at least 10 emails everyday , but i don't have the time for it. Also this common issue has been pending for months now, so most people including me don't bother to email.

I haven't faced this issue today but then I did not trade today.

As and when I saw messages on TJ of the order book not getting updated, I entered some "dummy" trades and all of them showed up in the order book.

But each of these trades were at least half an hour after the time the messages were posted.

OK. Will send email next time but what are you going to do? Are you going to fix the issue at my terminal without restarting it? or is there any configuration you will do at your end?

Please understand we are trading and it involves money. For god sake It's a serious issue.

After sending email how long you will take to respond? Can I take it as you will solve it within seconds?

If you know the issue why don't you solve it?

Exactly. I second that. Only answer I'm hearing from zerodha is send an email when you have such problem but no solution suggested. What is the problem in publishing the solution in this forum?
