Reuters is already a international established player. Omensys cannot compete with them.
Soon omnesys will be killed. I don't know what reuters will bring to the table..but i hope that omensys dies.
After reuters other players will enter market. Lot of room for other players too..
old dinosaur brokerages are dying a slow painful death and they don't even know it..
If i were you , i would not keep my money with the old brokerage houses.

@Zerodha, will reiterate.. just some plain charts with clean, accurate data and consistency will do, i think we can do well even without fancy things like 3d style, color fading etc etc ... start with simple things first and when they work with simplicity and consistency add more things ...

You are talking about new data server since over one month (mid October).
Still Pi is full of erroneous data, so charts are not trade able. Most of days intraday data starts around different time (10:45 AM, 1:15PM etc etc ... :lol
.Nest Plus Charts is also giving problem with missing data frequently now a days. :annoyed:
You must think about traders.

We have done enough beta testing and your 'Pi – Overview' is full of Feedback & all types of suggestions (implementation of these can take more than 1 years
).Now it is time for most important thing, please setup your data server ASAP.

About time, hmm..We have to work with same kind of guys who you have to work with in normal life. A commits on providing a server of our requirement, and after two weeks say it will take more time. You have already paid some money, you can shout at them, but there is basically no use. You have servers, then you realize there is no rack space in the data center, something that was already committed but someone conveniently forgot about. Added to that for every small thing we have to keep going to our daddy/mommy(exchange and regulators).. So yeah, it is not easy, but I guess we can't give excuses because we will end up becoming like just another one of them.
We have a temporary solution for data server that will go live from next week, but that kind of relies on Omnesys. It should ideally work, but since we are relying on them, it may not be upto the mark. Our own data streaming solution, will take another month, and we are definitely sure that we will show you prices 1 tick faster than any other platform in the country once we are live with it.
