what is the meaning of this ? People can fully automate their trading with Amibroker AFL with PI.
For now we will start releasing the semi-auto/mock version.

In semi-auto, when a strategy on amibroker/Expert advisor/Scripted alerts gives buy/sell, it gets logged in what is called an alert window. You can have your strategy define the order details as well. In the alert window, you have a trade button, clicking on which places an order.

In the mock version, you can have all the orders placed automatically(not on the exchange but just mock) and you can get a log of all the orders placed with price. This is like a testing environment.

Yes, the natural extension to the mock is going live, which basically would place the orders on the real exchange. It is ready, but we will give it out slowly. Also to make this completely automated, you will still need approvals from the exchange and become an AP with us.

Cannot understand the need to re register to use Pi. Is there some implied beta tester agreement or zerodha responsibility is waived by getting a client to ask for it?

After the first release which never worked, I never bothered to download or use it again. Zerodha is not doing any big favors by providing Pi, Bi or anything else.

I will not ask for something that every client has a basic right to and paying money for. Until the day that Pi goes mainstream like Now/Nest and can be downloaded from the site and used, let them keep it to themselves.
We did a mistake the first time around, and I guess you learn from each one of them. We ended up giving it to all, and most of them were not even trading. We ended up utilizing a lot of our bandwidth supporting people who don't even trade.

We have a complete backend in place this time around, to enable/disable and monitor people who are using Pi. Pi will be premium, because we have put up a lot of resources behind it over the last few months. The running costs for Pi, are significantly higher than for NEST/ZT. We will offer this for free, but only for clients who trade through us or else have a small running fees (which gets adjusted with brokerage).

Sorry for any inconvenience, if you had to do this twice.

We have planned and are working on doing some really interesting things on Pi.

For example, we are currently working on integration something like an options oracle within Pi.
