Dear Zerodha,

Please tell me the exact Cut-off time for options shorting. Some people say its 3:00 Pm some say 3:10 and some still says 3:20.

Please reply

3.10 ............If your positions are gaining.
3.20~3.28 ....If your positions are losing.

For trading derivatives, NRI's will need to get a CP(custodial participant) code and then trade..
Thanks for the info.. But expecting a bit more professional approach..

1. Advise me on how to open the CP. What help will zerodha provide..?
2. What about MCX intraday trades..? Is it allowed to OCI/NRI..?
3. If answer to above question is "Yes", Please advise me with the complete formalities..?

I would like to open this ASAP. Please help

Hi Zerodha/Fellow Traders,

I have a scrip NIFTY12NOV5600CE in the Market Watch of ZT Terminal

Now I want to modify this to NIFTY12DEC5100PE

(I don't want to remove scrip and add a new again....I want to modify the existing scrip to new one)

Is there any quick workaround ?

Not possible. Why so much laziness???

I saw many times, this varies from time to time.(Past experience)
No fixed time.
Dear Friend Columbus,

Could not understand that what Zerodha has to do with our profit or loss making position, they should be clear about thier job (Squaring off) on time, Second, You said it varies time to time, RMS is computer based system, it should work on time.

Please elaborate,

Sameer...

Soft, there are many such scrips I have added in the marketwatch.
I may want to modify strike price or pe/ce or expiry month also for the same scrip. I,m finding bit inconvenient to select all these over and again.
Looking for a simpler workaround which will serve the same purpose.

Re: Blank Market watch window in Web trader

I'm behind a corporate firewall, and can successfully launch all websites and other Java plugins (like icharts.in) by giving proper credentials.
But when i login to ZT web trader, I don't see anything in Trade xpress.
The Market Watch drop down on the top is blank, and the Market drop down defaults to CDS, even if i choose NSE or NFO, nothing happens.
I have also tried adding scripts to the Market watch, but that fails with no error messages.
Below, the second tab, is "session", and i can see this error message there
java.net.UnknownHostException: trade.zerodha.com : Sever could not be contacted...Please try again later.

Does the web version use any other ports than 80 or 443?
Is there any changes in the configuration that i can do to make it work?

Can we expect any newer version of the web trader any time soon?
Hi Jai,

Wait for a couple of days, the html 5 version will be launched, you can start using it, you should be able to stream quotes even behind firewalls.
