Did not find anything in the span pdf.
and when are u activating mcx-sx?
THe margin is the same like in NSE..

USDINR trades on MCX-SX and not MCX.. We are expecting to go live on MCX-SX by this weekend..

Yusi,

Dealer logged out usually comes through if you have logged in another location with your id and password.. It also could be that you might have logged in twice in the same computer.. To make sure that you are not logged in, you can use task manager to close all instances of ZT...

@VJAY, Play around with the server ;).. We do nothing with servers during trading hours...

Correct, applicable everywhere . . .

in addition to above the margin will remain blocked even after the profit booking or stop loss order is executed and your position is now nil

It will be released only after you cancle the other order :)

Cheers

Zerodha,
Sorry for bringing up this again. But can you confirm this please?
The reason why I am asking is I checked my previous mails and found the following statement from Zerodha (Mr.Vinay), which is different from what is stated above regarding additional margin requirement . Or is this a recently added feature?

>> c) Currently Zerodha is not providing profit booking order, you need to

>> To place profit booking order and stop loss order at a time you need
>> have additional margin.

Thanks

Touche.

Confirmed that the guy whose account I was handling was panicking and logging in to check -- time to buy I guess.

Spoke to Vinay, guess there was a misunderstanding, but what I wrote is correct.

There is no extra margin blocked for placing target and SL , as long as you are holding the position..
