Hey Zerodha,

I am also facing the same problem given below. Do you know the cause? Any solution??

NEST plus on NOW is probably not the greatest combo, a few cases of system hanging etc... We have informed this to the NOW team, they said they are working on it..

Solution, hmm... wait for a few days for Zerodha Trader to go live, NEST plus works as a dream.. .. On commodities we are giving last 20 days intraday data and etc...

More info on SLB, article in ET. Volumes still low and not practical for the inexperienced but increasing nonetheless.

How is brokerage charged for lending?

. It is not really brokerage, because you are not trading on the exchange, but there are costs associated, which are not much...

Facing same problem ..any solution as you are soon going to migrate to NEST trader...the problem of hang is not there in NOW though mostly the charts r not opening properly in NOW

@poor trader, the issue with Zerodha trader and charting was only the first few days where CPU usage was showing high.. It has been fixed long back and as I told earlier you get 20 day intraday data...

Firstly today the people looking to borrow will want in multiples of the lotsize atleast..So if the lotsize for adani is 2000, you will have to lend a minimum of 2000 shares and multiples thereof.. Higher the number of shares you have the more demand as the arb guys typically look for bigger lots...

There would be borrowers only if there is a reverse arb opportunity, i.e if futures is at a discount to the spot price.. How much a lender makes, depends on the opportunity that is available at that particular moment on reverse arb, usually around 20% of the opportunity available...

I am facing this problem in Zerodha trader for commodities (and not in NOW). Please look into this as I am unable to trade.

Had the same issue, I don't think you have updated Zerodha Trader... Try this, In the software there is a link called NEST plus, under Nest plus you have a link called check for updates. Click on it and you are set, the CPU utilization drops..

The other issue that you might have is, we are today giving intraday chart for 1 month. None of the trading platorms today give more than a maximum of 7 days.. Getting a 1 month intraday chart is a great tool for all those who trade on technicals...

The issue with this is if you are working data cards or slower internet speeds, the chart might take a long time to load as there is so much data that it has to acquire before it starts... If you have good internet speed it works amazingly well, the moving averages to all the other indicators make so much more sense when you look at it on a longer time frame chart...

We have found a fix for this for all those on slower speeds, we will by default show you only 1 day intraday chart and the 1 month intraday chart will be available only when you click on that particular option in the next few days..
