Using Amibroker Automation Object and Excel OLE is much faster and easier than DDE with unlimited symbols (limited by the source, in this case NOW with 55 symbols) and no need to configure anything inside of Amibroker to get the data.
Didn't get anything. What OLE stands for? How to configure it?
Please explain more on this.
Or it will be better to start a new thread if you can explain in detail about it.
I am a non techie person too.
Thanks

Hi Zerodha

Does Market orders for MIS (intraday equity - cash market) Always gets executed ?

I want to hear your experience if there is any exception ever occurred to this.
Market orders are meant to get executed, the only scenario in which it won't is

If the stock hits an upper or lower circuit. At upper circuit, there will be no sellers and hence your buy order at market won't get executed.

Oops, I am the wrong person to ask such things, but I think what Josh1 is doing is the same thing that I am talking about. Okay, basically, you get data in Excel right?, now all you have to do is write a macro in Excel to copy the data as CSV file and then another macro in Excel which imports the CSV file immediately into Amibroker using the AB createobject method. (please refer to importing data though java script or something similar in the AB user guide). I am sorry I do not have time to go deeper into this, currently doing various research.

How would you square off at this situation then ?

Point I'm trying to make here is :
Suppose I buy 100 shares of company X with full leverage and then soon share price hits lower circuit. So I can not sell now and square off my position....right ? What happens at this situation ?

Is there any charges I suffer here ?

I recently met a doctor in Cochin who is a brilliant trader.. Trades options and shared with me his ledger for 2 years... Is up more than 300%/yr for the last 2 consecutive years... He was trading with Geojit and paying Rs 125/lot of option for last 3 years... What do you call him now?? Brilliant or stupid?? ;)..

No offense taken from your banter.. ;)...
300% for 2 consecutive yrs becomes 900%. Right?

There are 2 scenarios:

1. You have shorted a stock and stock hits upper circuit. In this case, you will not be able to buy back the stock.. In case you don't have the stock in your demat or you are not able to transfer it to your demat by next day 12pm, you will face the auction risk. What happens in an auction is, NSE would buy the stock which you were supposed to delivery and because it buys it from teh auction market you could loose in some cases as much as 20% in this process.

2. You have bought a stock and the stock hits an upper circuit, you now cannot sell the stock. In this case, we would sell your stock either the next day or the day after because it would still have not come to your demat. In case the stock stays up circuit for more than 2 days, we would transfer it to any other demat account of yours...

Dear Zerodha , when is NSE on Nest ? could you specify any final date for it ?
Hi Best nifty, when it comes to regulatory issues, it is out of our control. The platform is pending NSE approval and the NSE issue that happened during the month slowed it down further.

We want it to happen fast, but as I said it is out of control to know when. Hopefully it will be ready in the next couple of weeks...

If I buy unitech(8000shares) at 20.10 paise and sells it at 20.15., so as per zerodha's brokerage rates i am still profitable!!!! is it true???? in Angel and IIfl They charge minimum 5 paise per share for unitech lanco Gvk etc....if it is true then atlest i can make wonders because gaining 5paise is very easy(buy at days low and imidietly sell after 5paise profit)!!! till now i have not done it so asking if it is possible or not???
