I write everything unprofessionally? This because I didn't know share khan has another version release which has 30 days intraday data?? :)

Have been on this forum for 20 months, have answered every question however tough or stupid... Have answered at 3 am in the morning and whenever possible... Being able to support everyone on an open forum is not an easy job..find me one broker in India who has been able to do it over a long period of time.... I have traded for hedge funds and probably on days have done more turnover than all of tj members put together, but I have never once shown that attitude even if the guy is asking me a basic stupid question...I believe knowledge grows when shared and I have always tried to share it as much of it as possible... I enjoy my life, retired from trading at 30 by choice, enjoying what I am doing... I might use dudes, smileys to express what I feel, but that is not called being unprofessional.. If I am wrong I always acknowledge, like the way I did... U calling me unprofessional just hurt a bit, first time someone has called me that in my life, even though it is from an anonymous person online.... What we have started at zerodha will eventually change the way borking happens in india...u might or may not trade with us, but all of u will eventually benefit and get lower costs and better customer support...there is only one trade of mine which is open in the exchange, I am short most of the listed borking firms :) ... I probably got carried away a little... Good night guys and have a good trading day tomm, for all those who are awake , it is very imp to rest....
Ah Sachin, long day I guess. What you are doing at TJ answering queries of all and sundry is totally thankless, and can get to you when some dude comes out all guns blazing and makes a personal and insensitive remark. Cut the dude some slack, must've had a tough day at the bourses. Good night!

Firstly today the people looking to borrow will want in multiples of the lotsize atleast..So if the lotsize for adani is 2000, you will have to lend a minimum of 2000 shares and multiples thereof.. Higher the number of shares you have the more demand as the arb guys typically look for bigger lots...

There would be borrowers only if there is a reverse arb opportunity, i.e if futures is at a discount to the spot price.. How much a lender makes, depends on the opportunity that is available at that particular moment on reverse arb, usually around 20% of the opportunity available...
If a lender is able to lend 2000 shares of AdaniPorts for 1.65 each. He stands to earn Rs.3300. How much charges would the lender incur to the broker(Zerodha) and exchange, taxes etc?

didn't meant and use word 'write'.

this is because 'you' claimed 'none of platform provide....', without trying to know if anybody is providing.

If Zerodha have announced same thing thru emails or advertisements, any rivals/competitors can create big problems for promotions. Also Zerodha will be in problem, if after having a 'package', will use that line in heavy budget advertisements. I hope people handling advertisement at Zerodha know about ASCI, so they check before claim anything, it will save them some good amount and future hassles.

I always praised for Zerodha support :thumb:, and also for awareness created by Zerodha :clapping:. don't remember if ever I have complained about Zerodha support staff.

NO broker in India is like Zerodha, that's why at first place your co. raised trader's expectations from Zerodha as a broker.

seriously, when i said that using particular words or images make you unprofessional?? I B]NEVER[/B] said talking or walking formally make anybody professional.

Definitely it will change the way people trade but i hope Zerodha will be able to grow and improve fast enough to become No.1.:thumb: Introducing a new concept is great thing, but businessman have to move fast. B/c others are there for whom it may not be a matter of time or capital to create something more challenging on that new concept. (as some already started)

At first, was surprised why you took my statements personally, now got it. You didn't get my posts at all.
Actually its my mistake, i misunderstood, assumed 'Zeodha ID at TJ' as a 'representative' of 'Zerodha', so was taking all your posts as Official and Reliable Statements. NEVER KNEW i was replying to 'Sachin'.

anyways, :thumb: for all your efforts! tc! :)

They guy/guys at JP Morgan must have bet $100 bn on single trade. That's about a week's worth of turnover on NSE and BSE combined. But that doesn't matter. He's in a hole. A $5bn hole! Probably he's got fired at 30 and will soon be employed by Zerodha. Sounds familiar?

I'll repeat. Zerodha's a good broker. Maybe a very good broker. You should stick to broking. Some unknown guy on a forum has got a Zerodha representative upset, angry, boasting and maybe lying. That doesn't sound too good, does it?
:) ... My bad to get carried away!!! It is tough to be in an online world.. :) ... Cheers...

Hehe.. this is turning into quite a bare knuckle contest. Lets go easy on Sachin, guys. It would be nice if people stop making personal attacks and unsavory remarks about an individual who is here to answer queries, however silly or repititive, to his best knowledge.

Rs. 500+ per month for the plugin is too much, maybe you would pay but I think 99% AB users will not pay more than Rs. 100-150 a month for the plugin. I myself won't be willing to pay more than Rs. 150 for it. As it is you can anyway stream data from Now-to-AB using Excel for free, but for the backfill and extra symbols I would be willing to pay Rs. 150 not more.

PS: whatever they do, I hope they(omnesys) don't use 'hourly statistics' for backfill, that would be amazingly useless
if a trader cant make 500 a month then best is just to paper trade

Hi

Its regarding currency futures:
1. In brokerage calculator I have found that there is a clause regarding LAST TRADING DAY- two working days prior to last business day.....
What does it actually mean, can u give the reply citing MAY expiry
2. In brokerage calculator turnover is showing as undefined, does it mean we do not have stamp duty?
3. What is the sq off time in MIS for currency?

Hi sachin tilll you give margin against stocks and i start working with zerodha i have to work with religare i have a query i hope you can help

Religare people have told me that that i will have to pay 5000 rs per month for algo each trading Id other than the brokerage i pay them

Is it justified does omneys charge them for each strategy every month
currently i am using odin but plan to use omnesys for routing my order

Also with the same 5000 rs or less would you be able to provide options strategy once
one your omnesys trader goes live

Though i Expect if and when Zerodha offers anything like this they will charge what ever is charged to them by the software vendor and 20 rs per trade
