1. We were running the BOD process( Beginning of day) between 8am to 8.30am and hence you would not have been able to login.. This has been now rescheduled t0 6.30 am, from tomorrow you will not have this issue..

2. TOP N securities not available for commodities, only for equities..

3. We haven't faced any issue about ZTrader taking long to exit, but we are double checking the same...

Hi Zerodha

today i started late and restarted NOW few times but still full chart of USDINR is not coming for today (NEST PLUS Charts), even checked data table..no data for today even now..it was only showing today's data from time i logged in..while in Nifty etc data from 915 is showing..while zerodha replied that NEst team is checking on this but till now nothing happened..
I also mailed to omnesys..they also not replied..

can anybody tell, is there any charges for account opening and software for zerodha? checked zerodha.com but they nowhere mention whether charge or not. interested in commodity.

any member can share, what are the benefits to join zerodha?
main benefit they mention on site is brokerage, but when calculated on site calculator, it is slightly less what currently paying. right now having a/c with sharekhan and they gave trade tiger software for trading.

Any plans of starting fixed brokerage per month plans in the near future ? I see that some of your customers have also opened accounts with other brokers because there is a fixed brokerage plan and lower transaction charges.

Maybe not. I think that they will come up with something else altogether. Maybe per segment something, specially once they have everything on one platform. So a trader can calculate his brokerage as [(rent x number of segments) + software rent].

Is it possible to open more than one account with you. Say I want to open 2 accounts but I will obviously have the same PAN number. So is it allowed by SEBI/Exchange to open 2 accounts with the same broker?

same thing is happening even today..and add to that no data of USDINR of 30May2012 in the nest plus charts..

There is no software charges, account opening for commodities is Rs 300 if we courier the forms and Rs 200 if you print the forms...

Even if you get brokerage of 0.01% with Sharekhan( for which I think you have to pay upfront brokerage of Rs 1lk), if you buy and sell 1 big lot of gold, for 1 lot you will pay Rs 500, with us you would be paying Rs 40..
