Sorry for late reply as I was away .......
Earlier I was using 32 bit version of Windows 7 and found out that only 1.89 GB (from the same 8 GB) was usable at that time, I googled and then came to know that in 32 bit versions, Windows uses maximum 2 GB even if you had put 16 GB of RAM, then I switched to 64 bit version.
As far as the consumption of "Full 8 GB" is concerned instead of 7.86, Windows always keep some portion of RAM for itself, some OS keeps a little more than mine. And of course, as you have shown YOUR SYSTEM, you can see it shows only "Installed RAM", while mine is showing BOTH "Installed RAM" as well as "Usable RAM", thats it ........
