What is your system date setting


Is it MYD or MDY? Google gives Last Traded Time as "March 15 10:45AM. Excel converts this to 15/03/2013 10:45. It is doing goof up somewhere in parsing date. My date setting is DMY. I am not able to replicate this error. Please remind in April.
Meanwhile, open sheet "Google" and erase entire contents. It will warn you that query will be deleted. Do not worry.

Just to confirm the system settings, The Regional Settings date format is DMY ie 17 March 2013.
NB : May be this is also one of the idiosyncrasies of Microsoft that Excel will only parse correctly if the date format is English US ie MYD. Let us see in April how to get over it.

Try Windows -> Run command, type: regsvr32 %windir%\system32\scrrun.dll

One more quarry
When i have backfill data old data washed out and new backfill data shown. and Every time database setting change intraday to eod.
Back data symbol i.e. IDFC-EQ and real time symbol i.e. IDFC_F1 both are difference. what to do. please help thank you

Download and use latest backfill utility.
Backfill doesn't change database settings. This means you are not following backfill instructions

hi josh

this is for trade tiger to amibroker.

after reading ur manual, i tried doing it myself. interestingly i managed to do 2 parts out of 3. i.e.

1. Getting RT feed in Snap.xls from Trade Tiger.
2. Getting RT feed from Snap.xls to RTTiger.xlsm
3. Getting RT feed from RTTiger.xlsm to Ami.

but for step 3, when i hit start button, even amibroker is starting. but it doesnt throw charts and gives an error!

Dear Josh
I am able to fetch data from ODIN to RTODIN data is coming nicely but data is not going to Amibroker I have created Ami Database according to setup manual. Previously I was getting data nicely in Windows XP but now I have switched over to windows 8. All formulas are working nicely upto updatation in RTODIN.xlsms but RTODIN not creating RT Folder. I have created Folder via Macro setting, Macro created RT folder and MyCSV.txt but data is not updated in same folder. Kindly help me to solve the problem. I shall be thankfull if you could solve problem via Team viewer if possible.

I have been able to fetch realtime datafeed from NOW, ODIN, Trade Tiger, Google, Yahoo, to Excel 2007 and pull it into AmiBroker and Fcharts.

Link to the utility is given below in my signature (Green Colour). You will have to register and login into 4Shared.com to download RTNOW.zip file. Download and unzip the contents.
Read the Setup instructions, follow and enjoy Realtime Charts.

Code is open. Users are free to change/copy/distribute it.

Backfill is semi-automatic. About 15 days to one month available depending upon your source.

One gentleman has hosted free ieod data for all scrips on NSE including Futures for last two years, on this site. http://www.tradewithme.me/data-archives-for-technical-analysts.html

You can use them to backfil until available.
