My system specifies a few important things
day range, beyond which trading should not be attempted
strength of trend, so i know where to enter and where to get out
the extent it can move, clearly charted out to me, so i know in advance where to put targets
and a lot of other important info, all rolled in one place

i quit last trade 5350 as it had reached day range nd will not go any further without consolidating first

fresh entry should come in 6 to 12 hours from now

Well that is a wise decision.
It's strange i never implemented it in my strategy,i guess because i close my positions way before cable goes freeze .
So tell me how do you calculate the day range, I've read somewhere Cable hits 120-150 pips daily average.
And the next thing what do you use to gauge trend strength:
ADX or just trendlines
Could you brief on various factors you look before entering.

• concentrate more on price action
• all indicators depend on price, they lag
• price action is what gives better and more reliable trades

concentrate more on demand supply, not on indicators

I also do trade based on price action,my charts are clean and clear.:rofl:
But still when i asked your briefing, i was expecting something of a setup, which will be price action based.(which you like to see)
Other thing you didn't tell me, was my range for cable right, and how do you get at daily range factor.
Do you analyze Price history.

But if this is an ascending triangle kind of thing.
Then its a great run in either direction.:clapping:
My forecast the the Cable has two barriers.
One upper resistance at 1.5681
Second Resistance at 1.5829
Then Final 1.6237 Fib Ext which is 161.8 forecast in ascending Triangle.
What are your views.
I'm waiting for your response.

To me Tavnaz, it looks like a perfect 'Blue Family Planning Signal'
and when you see a perfect 'Blue Family Planning Signal' I think it's time to go LONG only with "Protection" and may be you should also not remove your "Shorts" often, but beware just before and after a perfect 'Blue Family planning Signal' holding your LONG becomes difficult.
