Anybody has any experience with Focus or spoke with their customer care?
As Mr. Adani said they charge less than RKG without any software maintenance charge, then why not we shift to Focus ? They also provide ODIN. We are with RKG only for Brokerage, isn't it?

Please confirm the following :
1) Whether brokerage is fixed or % wise.
2) Any volume commitment required or flat brokerage.
3) Nifty futures margin at present date.

Spoke to Suresh. He said, only if you generate large vols, he can give as low as Rs.7/- per lot FIXED. He assured absolutely no hidden costs. Otherwise, if your volume is less, Rs.9/- per lot is the charge. No charges for software and they offer ODIN for trading. He says to begin with, u get Rs.9/- per lot. He can reduce to Rs.7/- only after seeing the volume generated.
So far so good (better than RKG). But, I think they dont care about hedged positions - you need to furnish full margin if you are short on a lot. RKG atleast releases the money on T+1 if you have a hedged position.
So, if you are a day-trader AND if Focus' service is good, moneywise it might be a wise-choice
Other charges:
Opening: 666/- (Opening + AMC for first year) + 250/- NSE charges
AMC from second year: 166/- per year.

ODIN is not working today for the last half an hour. It's showing - connection busy error. Is it the same with other users of RKG?

I didn't face that problem today for half an hour.
Once it got disconnected but able to reconnect on first try.
They should atleast have their servers up.

I trade only FnO with them. Their charges are accurate and no hidden charges. Their back office is very much transparent.
But I face problems many times in connecting to their ODIN.
I'm with RKG only for brokerage & don't expect any more at this cost.
For charts (intraday & all types), I use Sharekhan's TradeTiger which serves my purpose well.

My suggestion is go for RKG cash segment if u r an Intraday trader with volume above Rs. 30K OR u trade in low priced scrips OR u trade in delivery basis for short term.
First go for Rs. 9 brokerage and after testing their service u may opt for unlimited 999 plan.
