R K Global Issues!

I have not tried their web client so can't comment on it. BUT from my experience I will not recommend web client for intraday trading. It doesn't matter which broker you use, web client will eventually cause a problem when the load is too high. I have faced this with all brokers I have tried - ICICIDirect, Geojit, ILFS & Kotaksecurities

Order execution on ODIN Diet is fast (RK Global). Another one I liked is Geojit's platinum platform. It is good except for the brokerage which is too high compared to RK.

If your meaning of intraday is 1-2 trades a day wherein your entries/exits are predefined, then you can consider web client.
Completely agree. If you want to day trade i.e., monitoring your trades continously then web client will not do.

For active intraday traders making more than 3-4 trades a day it is must to have a non-web based platform. I have not used ventura so can't comment on that.

I have used RK, Geojit & ILFS exe based platforms. Of these RK & Geojit are good. RK overall better because of low brokerage.

If you are not a active trader get yourself a web based client.

One more thing atleast at RK, exe based platform costs only Rs.331/- per month per segment. For ex: If you trade NSE Cash segment only then spending 331 per month is worth it for the exe platform. If you trade all segments (NSE Cash + BSE Cash + NSE FnO) then this cost increases to ~800.

If not stick to web platform which is usually free

Hi nitin, on the RKGlobal site it is mentioned that you need to open a DP account with them and and HDFC bank account is necessary. Is that compulsorily required? can you comment please?

Also wanted to know if you can withdraw funds online (broker to bank from backoffice) and which version of odin they provide, is it 9.1.xx

DP is not mandatory if you open F&O only account.

They have online banking integrated with HDFC bank only. Withdrawal/deposit can be done directly online if you have HDFC bank account. For other banks you will end up sending and receiving checks which can be painful if you do it regularly.

Did you sign up for an HDFC account when opening account with RKG? What is the minimum balance required for it?

If you have an HDFC account do they let you withdraw funds online and how long does it take to receive them in the bank account.

I already had an account with HDFC and it is a zero balance account (Salary account). Online withdrawal is possible. Last time I withdrew it took 2 days
