Once the order is placed (and assuming all systems are ok) your order will go to the exchange. Once it is received and all is well, exchange will provide an order id back to us. It is one of the columns in order book.

Thereafter, it remains with the exchange until it is executed or it is cancelled.

Believe me. In June, there was an instance where ICICI Direct cancelled all open orders. I had placed a stop loss order in futures in the morning, with "ordered" status (confirmed by the exchange). When I checked in the afternoon, the order had been cancelled by the ICICI Direct system. I am talking of a normal Futures order (not "FuturesPlus"), where I provided much more than the margin required.

So I called up the RM, and he said "Not to worry Sir, this happens only once in a blue moon". :annoyed: Luckily, the blue moon did not wipe out my capital.

I meant that my stop loss order actually went to the exchange & was confirmed by the exchange. But it was later cancelled by ICICI Direct. My RM told me that on that day that day they cancelled all open orders, due to some problem with their system.

well almost 7 days are passed but i havent received any email by them!
btw how u recieve ur odin login n all email or physical mail please reply!!!

If you are opening demat, it takes much more than 7 days even if all papers are fine. Actually NSDL takes time to process. Everything by email. You wont get any paper. Keep following up every two or three days with your rep.

I am not able to see the hep files in ODIN.When I click on help, nothing is coming out.And the margin available for trading is not also seen.

to see margin available go here http://122.160.248.51:8085/capexweb/capexweb/capexmain_middle.htm input your user id and pass click on financial in left side and then finance ledger and click go.you can see your ledger.

Hi,
I am planning to use the web-based platform of RK Global for FnO segment (on the account of low brokerage). I had requested for it on 14th August. Today Morning, I received a call from their branch office (Calcutta, as claimed by the representative) and also received a set of PDF attachments of my mail ID (includes, Form, Illustrations, etc).
The representative asked me to take a print out of the form and courier it the same after filling up the details. I did not like this as I expected some representative to come and collect the same. I told him about this and I got a reply saying, they dont have any branch office in Bangalore. Is this true (I doubt about it)?
Rk Global users from Bangalore, Kindly provide the information on account opening.
