Seems their SSL Certificate is expired and so that this occurs, but I don't think its a big issue (may be I am wrong)

Looks like the certificate is registered to rkglobal.net . Not for www.rkglobal.net

Try https://rkglobal.net/rkglobal and you wont get this certificate error .

I am using ODIN and recently found their improvements well on data freezing issues, yesterday didn't freeze single time and today couple of times, but still good comparing in past. Good thing is even though when data freezes still we can place orders and that executes as well.

It freezes frequently, its good that they have given Web BAsed simultaneously like SMC do (odin + web based both together)...

I am using the default 1.1.1.1 and before that when it freezes I switch over to 59.163.43.166 whenever it freezes, when this IP also get frozen switch over back to 1.1.1.1

But, for past one week there is not much trouble with freezing issues, only couple of times in a day and another day not even once, so definitely there is some improvement. :thumb:

Did you run the 2 exe files in the folder " Patches 14092009" .This folder will be in the extracted contents of the main file .

I am going to open the RK globl account, Could you please guide me how is their performance now.

I am day trader so please tell me how much time will it take to execute the order in day trading.

In some of the thread i noticied they didnt charge any amount for ODIN client as well as web client, could you please confirm, is their charging any amount for their terminal. how much ?

In my experience, the delivery of quotes to the trading terminal is as bad as ever. The broadcast freezes frequently; particular during high volumes / fast price movements that occurs near support or resistance. There is considerable improvement in that their server is not down as it used to be earlier.

Be very clear that the choice of RKG is based on their low brokerage. I can guarantee that many a day you will wonder if this play-off between low brokerage and smooth operations of the trading software is worth it.

Order execution is as fast as one can expect. An observation: often the order executes at a price that match broadcast quotes in the next or second update. The point here is that the quotes are delayed and one may be watching price action that does not suit scalping a few points.

They do charge a monthly amount for both the Diet Odin and their web-based platform.

As much as has been read in this thread will not give you a feel of what you probably want to know. I would suggest finding a person in your city who has RKG and sit with him at the terminal for a few hours, if he will allow it. As a second best, ask RKG for a demo account for a few days.

RKG's sales persons definitely use a demo account. The Diet Odin software is available at their website. Their login is something like 1111, rkg123; do not remember (there are multiple demo accounts).

They way to do it is to express an interest in opening an account, get a sales person to visit you, talk nicely nicely, ask him to setup the software and give you a demo, delay giving him the papers/cheque for a few days so that you can play around with the demo. Such accounts would have all the options (NSE/BSE / equity / F&O / Commodities) enabled so keep that in mind.

If you ask for a demo account outright, it is unlikely that you will get one.

lazytrader, you have been querying about Odin for a long time now. Have you not got around to seeing it first hand yet?

Nope. Haven't been trading for the past couple of months. Everytime I say I am going for so and so broker, people jump up telling all the bad thing they have done.

I really want ot open an account with RKG but their service and connection problem is making me rethink everytime.
