I really want ot open an account with RKG but their service and connection problem is making me rethink everytime.
I too thought for sometime to open account with RKG after got some bad feedback about them in this forum. But I tried, now, I can say its better than Sharekhan's Tradetiger, I posted couple of positive posts about RKG recent times and till now it works great for me. I am using only F&O segment with them.

Since, Sharekhan's Tradetiger too sometimes freezee's and we have to relogin everytime, mainly the brokerage is too high for options. So, I recommend lazytrader to try once with RKG and I believe even you're not satisfied nothing big you're going to loose.

The problem is their recurring Rs500 charges, because I'm not sure if I'll be able to trade often now in that case won't that add up to brokerage? I don't think in the future I'll be able to trade in market hours.

How much savings do you have with RKG compared to previous broker?

I also have account with Sharekhan and they charge Rs.70/Lot in F&O, whereas it will come around Rs.160/Trade, with RKG Rs.9/Lot and it comes around Rs.25/Trade

I usually do intraday in Options, where we have to wait for Rs.3 movement to breakeven the brokerage. (ex. buying Call 1 Lot @ Rs.60 and breakeven @ Rs.63 and above only I get profits) with RKG the breakeven is just 50ps (ex. buying Cal 1 lot @ Rs.60 and breakeven @ Rs.60.50)

So that I make more intraday with RKG even 1 Rupee profit trades done. (As I put stop loss with Re.1 profit) I do trade around 10 trades a day and I pay Sharekhan Rs.1600 and pays RKG Rs.250, just with 1 days I saved lots of brokerage.

What you want to know about memory? Memory usage?
You can check in task manager:
Processes tab> View> Select Colums..> Check boxes Memory usage and virtual memory usage.

Memory usage is the amount of ram that is acually in use and virtual memory usage is the amount of RAM it needs (excess memory reqd is used in the form of page file)

When placing stop losses you have to enter tigger and limit price both, right? RKG doesn't have market orders. I guess it doesn't make any difference when trading options because you need to do that anyway. It however, makes a difference when trading equities and futures.

How much do they charge for call and trade? In case odin doesn't work, as a backup..
