RKG doesn't have backfill in ODIN like other brokers do.

My question is about freezing problems . Do they occour due to real time charts ?

Do you want to tell that if you use charting in RkG Odin Diet the streaming quotes will freeze , otherwise not ?

No I dont switch on the charting, but still data feed freezes up. Some days worse than others. But quite a few times daily. Since there is no backfill, how much can the chart be relied upon.

Anyway many other limitations with ODIN charts, like alignment of time (hour), no backfill, etc.

NOW has RT Charts ?

I have not checked that. But people who are using it said the charting is at present only as good (or bad) as ODIN. But there is room for improvement. But others who are using it say the order execution is fast like ODIN. Data feed is also fast. Order status and Net positions update real time without our having to manually refresh it. All this is second hand information. I haven't got the opportunity to use it yet.

When more brokers move on to it, and load increases .... that situation remains to be seen.

1.There is a serious problem with security certificate, but
they are least bothered.

2.You are unable to access through Firefox (may be problem
with my browser.

3.I took an account about 3 months back,till date I could not

New version of ODIN is out with Angel and supposed to add better charting and some new charting features. Back fill for intraday and EOD.

My brokers web interface can also auto refresh the Net position and order book on new order placement or order execution, not having it in ODIN is bad.

Now is accessed over the web right? does it need java to provide these features?

It's not really a problem. Unless someone tries to spoof you specifically. There is no problem.

Same problem with motilal oswal. In India computers stop at Intel and Microsoft.

I thought you were able to use web interface, no?

Anyway, I don't feel like opening account with them anymore. Maybe someday when if I find a apartment next to RKG office then I will open account with them, so if something is not working I can immediately go catch RM's collar.

u can use it in firefox... get the latest version, enable pop ups

i regularly use web interface, try it more than once, so u can login....



yea, its disappointing to be with RKG for me, there is another competitor called justtrade... it offers unlimited trade for 699/month..........yet to know about its feedback

In that case how do you trade , because in such situation trading can be quite troublesome.
