dear mr. kanitkar,
one more major issues is u r using data format from default OS format..
so that it will affect another sw running on system..including excel file..
most of other third party data feeders using default OS format for feeding ms/ami..
so pls change in new version as default date format used by OS as ur format..
i think u will got my point..
happy trading..:thumb:
Date format running on machine can be taken as default provided client machine is using standard date formats defined by Microsoft. We found many customers have corrupted date formats. We also found few customers have decimal number separator as comma instead dot. We ensure we match date format of charting app. If OS date format is corrupt, application will not able to process data. These problems are common with pirated OS, pirated ms office and no antivirus. Unfortunately percentage of traders who use licensed OS, licensed office, Antivirus, licensed charting application (Ami or Metastock) is very less. Secondly most users have corrupt Amibroker data base and even installation. Many people use two or more data feed applications with same Amibroker instance in parallel and expect best quality data.
If one is pulling data from using excel, also from data capture tool and from same NEST or TT terminal at same time, no wonder machine goes for toss.
Multiple amibroker instances keep running in background which makes life miserable.
BTW: our application is just converts data which comes to your desktop. User must have valid approval and license (to use data to charting app) from broker. We do not use any data server etc neither we sell data. It's a GNU GPL app.
