Zerodha, is it possible to get 2015 holidays list ? The railway reservations need to be done 60 calendar days in advance. Can I get the holiday list at least for Jan+Feb ??

26-January-2015 Monday Republic Day. Total 3 day holidays Jan 24-26.
17-February-2015 Tuesday Maha Shivratri.
06-March-2015 Friday Holi. Total 3 day holidays Mar 06-08.

02-April-2015 Thursday Mahavir Jayanthi.
03-April-2015 Friday Good Friday. Total 4 days holidays Apr 02-05.

01-May-2015 - 01 Friday May Day.
04-May-2015 Monday Buddha Purnima. Total 4 days holidays May 01-04.

17-September-2015 Thursday Ganesh Chaturthi.
24-September-2015 [Dates may vary] Thursday Bakri Id/Idul Juha.
02-October-2015 Friday Mahatma Gandhi Jayanthi. Total 3 day holidays.
22-October-2015 Thursday Dasera/Vijaya Dashami.

* 10-November-2015 Muhurat Trading on Diwali-Laxmi/Kali Puja.
Usual market closed, open in evening only (generally only for 75 minutes).

** Milad-Un-Nabi or Id-E-Milad (Birthday of Prophet Mohammad) falls twice in the year 2015.

But, still we'll get 6 holidays on Friday /Mon Day with 4-day prolonged holiday occurred thrice.
So with respect to holidays, it is a break even year ( or minor profit ? :lol .

Zerodha,

You have to do something about "downloading symbols" for various exchanges. In the morning itself PI has downloaded and updated the database. It is taking almost 30 mins for me to complete the process.

Now again when i tried to login, in the first instance, it gave a message"Login failed-No liscence", in the second instance, it is again downloading all the symbols for various exchanges. Why it is doing so, i don't know. This is frustrating.

Suggestions:
1. Like nest, here also option should be there, whether one want to download symbols for various exchanges or not.
2. If at all it will automatically download, then it should check whether the previous database is uptodate or not.

zerodha - Nest has these login options too, Why should end user care at all about these symbols? How often do they change? The software should be able to figure out if something changed and only download the changes.

Vjay, live chart will be missing if your internet goes down. Otherwise live data will be always there.

thats we all know ...but want to know when internet back how can find missed data....?
